Von had now gained a deep understanding of the concept of nothingness and subsequently the world.
His next course of action, he thought, was would be to leave this place and seek greater heights, but he still had unfinished business.
He smiled at that thought, Maya's innocent face popping up in his mind.
.
Before as a demon, losing his parents had left him cold and one could say antisocial but after undergoing tremendous changes, first his fall then his 'rise', he had come to understand certain things.
The death of his parents for one hadn't really been confirmed and he had an inkling that they had a hand in all of this.
He decided to let go of his tumultuous past and embrace his new self. The stage had been set and all that was left was for him to live it up, ambitious thoughts of world domination buried somewhere in his heart began to resurge.
He would first acquire that thing only then would he have began his journey.
Breaking out of his thoughts he observed the surrounding.
'I really let myself loose.' He thought, as he made his way to his room.
He would have used his new found powers to repair the damage but he knew that using them here would inflict damage upon this fragile world and most probably alert that thing.
After changing his clothes he made his way to the office, there was something there he needed to confirm.
Opening the drawer, he picked up the dagger and started observing it,
"Jacinth, the weapon of eternal destruction, forged from the fabric of space and quenched in the rivers of time, the strongest weapon know to all." He muttered.
"Am I correct or are you still going to keep playing dead?" He continued.
"You... you... how did you know?" A stunned voice sounded telepathically in his head.
"I know many things now." He replied with an enigmatic smile.
"The question however should be, how did you find yourself here?" He asked.
"Hmmph!! Just because you have some basic knowledge doesn't mean I'm obliged to respond to you!!
"When big sister was slaughtering entire realms, your ancestors were not even out of the cradle!!" The voice sounded with a hint of pride and indignation.
"I can resolve the seal." Only four words from von and the dagger began trembling profusely.
"What did you say!! Big brother ....no master!! Please be kind with me"
Seeing it's shameless change of attitude, Von was stumped.
Were all the beings from the eternal realm prone to mood swings. The silhouette from the dream state acted like an expert at first, berating him about shadows decline or something like that, but as soon as it got to the middle of its tirade it had quickly become elated laughing like he won a lottery.
Now this one too, bragging at first but as soon as he said a few sentences it began to fawn upon him calling him master and big brother.
'Big brother your head! You are a being of at least billions of years old and could easily be traced back to the dawn of time, if I were your big brother how old would that make me?'
Having those thoughts, Von felt like spitting blood, he was only a couple thousand years old, still young and in the prime of his youth!
"If you can truly resolve the seal, I'll acknowledge you as my master." Jacinth said having recovered her composure.
"Who'd want to be your master? But having a weapon in handy wouldn't hurt much. Okay, I'll resolve it when we leave this dimension." He replied.
Jacinth felt her brain going into a frenzy. Countless big shots would fight to the death for an opportunity just to be her companion but here he was treating the prospect of being her master with disdain.
After further enquiry, he found out that most of her memory were fragmented and she didn't remember much.
She used a basic ability to turn into a bracelet and wrapped around his wrist.
That being settled, Von cut his hair to shoulder length while his nails were cut and reverted to their original pale complexion.
