Emily received a report from the doctor. "He has a bleeding ulcer in his stomach. Based on his medical history, it could be caused by his depression over the years." Emily was stunned as she accepted the report from the doctor. She couldn't imagine that Alex Stratton was battling severe depression. In her perception, he was unshakable, both physically and mentally. Glancing at the private room, Emily turned back to the doctor and asked, "What's the next step?"
"We've managed to stop the bleeding for now. He should stay for a couple of days to ensure it doesn't recur. It's crucial for him to maintain a healthy diet, especially given the depression medication he's been taking. Also, he needs to stop drinking" the doctor explained.
