Chapter 26 - Chapter 25 – An Unmatched Option

The waiter left the table, placing the dishes in front of Sheila, Benjamin, and Sophia. The table was full of colors and shapes of various cartoons.

Benjamin's pizza was shaped like a dragon, Sheila's salad was decorated with edible flowers, and Sophia's plate was filled with mini hamburgers with faces of fairy tale characters.

"Look, Treit, my burger has a unicorn face!" exclaimed Sophia enthusiastically, her eyes full of joy.

Sheila remained silent, slowly turning her gaze to Benjamin.

"What? You left me in charge of ordering the food while you went to find a table with that monster."

Sophia ignored Benjamin's comment and began to eat.

From Sheila's perspective, this meal was… too extravagant.

Undoubtedly, it was the most extravagant meal she had ever seen in her life.

"What? Are you scared?" Benjamin asked mockingly as he saw the look of disgust on Sheila's face.

Benjamin had finally returned to his normal behavior, but Sheila never expected him to order something like this.

Sheila cursed herself for telling him to surprise her before going with Sophia to find the table they were currently sitting at.

"Eat, Treit. The food here is really good," said Sophia while still chewing her food.

"Don't talk with your mouth full," they both responded instantly, causing her to lower her gaze, embarrassed by the sudden scolding.

"You owe me a soda," said Benjamin before Sheila could react.

"You're… an idiot," Sheila replied quietly as she focused her gaze on the strange salad she had been served.

She certainly had some compatibility with Benjamin, but she still didn't understand the change in his attitude since they had entered to see the attractions.

To Sheila's surprise, Sophia grabbed a portion of her salad with a fork and chewed it hastily.

Sheila couldn't help but burst out laughing as she saw the look of displeasure on the girl's face while chewing, but then she smiled at the end to say:

"Delicious…."

Benjamin couldn't believe his eyes.

Was he witnessing another miracle?

That spoiled girl was finally eating something healthy!

In all the years Benjamin had known Ethan's younger sister, no matter how much they took her to the most expensive restaurants or hired the best chefs, she always removed the salads from her meals.

Benjamin warned Ethan that he was spoiling the girl too much, but he defended her by saying she preferred pills to replace the vitamins that vegetables provided.

But now, with his own eyes, he had witnessed how that girl had willingly eaten vegetables.

Benjamin discreetly took out his phone while they started talking to make it look like he was going to take a picture of his food when in reality…

'Done!' thought Benjamin as he tried to hide his smile as best as he could, knowing that now he could boast about something else to Ethan.

"Did you take a picture?" asked Sophia as she pointed to Benjamin.

"Didn't you see the look of my pizza? I'm taking a picture for the memory," explained Benjamin without hesitation.

"Liar, that camera was pointing at us," said Sophia, frowning just like Sheila.

Benjamin, still calm, didn't hesitate to show them his phone to show them the picture he had taken.

To their surprise, he had indeed only photographed his pizza.

The picture was somewhat strange, as the pizza was not fully visible from the angle, but… they were almost not in the photo.

"Anything you want to say?" asked Benjamin, smiling more.

Sophia's instinct told her something was off, but since she had no way to prove it, she ended up apologizing.

Sheila, since she had never accused him of anything, simply remained silent as she continued eating her salad.

To her surprise, the salad was actually good.

It had a strange texture, but as she chewed, the taste it left in her mouth was pleasant.

'This would be great with a drink…,' thought Sheila, but upon seeing Sophia, she abandoned the idea.

While Sheila and Sophia continued their meals, Benjamin was glad that these two girls really didn't know about the powerful and unmatched option of cropping images.
