Finally, after a long... and very slow journey to the hotel from Benjamin's point of view, he left Sheila with Sophia.
"Are you sure?" Sheila asked, trying to hide her nerves. It was the first time she had been in such a situation.
Yes, for years she had been dealing with adult patients and sometimes with a child or two, but staying with a little girl to take care of her until her brother arrived, this was another level of responsibility.
"Of course. Right now, there is no better person in the world than you to take care of that little capricious demon while her brother comes to get her," Benjamin explained in a calm tone.
Sheila found it incredible that they left her in charge of a girl she had just met today, but she didn't want to refuse Benjamin's request due to everything he had bought for her.
