Sun-Jae retold the story of how Oh Nam-Jun escaped and fled to the harbor where he was attacked by the two men, who were eventually assaulted in a surprise attack by the killer who appeared out of nowhere.
"At that point I was getting lightheaded and was about to faint so I moved away from them and went to the car where Jin-Ah was kept to untie her before I passed out." Sun-jae finished summarising the details of the incident before the room went quiet.
'So the first conjecture is that the killer was already there from following Im Jin-Ah's brother and as he was about to ambush him, Oh Nam-Jun appeared so he attacked and killed the both of them. The second conjecture is that he followed Oh Nam-Jun and Ryu Sun-Jae from the police station, arriving at the harbor where Im Jin-Ah's brother was, leading to him attacking and killing the both of them.' Yeon-Hee silently compared the two possibilities in silence.
'But the second conjecture implies that the killer knew that Oh Nam-Jun was escaping the police station so how… The informant! Ryu Sun-Jae said that the female officer told him that he was already uncuffed! Could it be that the informant released Oh Nam-Jun and notified the killer so he could attack him but couldn't as Sun-Jae had been following him so he decided to tail them to the harbor where Jin-Ah's brother was?!' Yeon-Hee considered the likelihood of the second possibility as she turned and looked at Kang In-Hyuk's serious expression as his greying brows were furrowed.
"Ah, right! I remembered something!" Sun-jae said, breaking the silence as everyone stared at him.
"When I was about to open the trunk of the car, I heard Oh Nam-Jun scream something… "Who the hell are the two of you?!" was what I heard."
"Are you sure?" Yeon-Hee asked immediately.
Sun-Jae nodded in confirmation as everyone went silent again.
'So there was another person there! The second possibility is more likely now… But was it the informant or the killer's other partner? Still this implies that no one at the police station can be trusted besides those that left the station for the human trafficking raid.' Yeon-Hee silently came to the conclusion that the second conjecture was more likely to have happened.
"I saw the news article, did another murder happen today?" Sun-jae asked.
"Yes, the killer's been sending photos to the news station before we discovered them." Jae-Sik replied.

Entering the third floor of the hospital from the elevator was Choi Hyun-Woo, accompanied by a doctor as they were discussing friendly matters.
As they were walking past the patient rooms, he quickly snuck a glance at the two people standing outside one of the rooms; an old man who looked to be in his fifties and a young girl wearing white hospital clothes and fluffy white slippers.
The doctor he was walking with suddenly stopped in his tracks and faced the two people standing outside the room.
"What is going on?" The doctor asked, peeking through the glass of the door along with Hyun-Woo as they saw a young man sitting on a hospital bed as he waved at someone inside the room.
Hyun-Woo suddenly got a notification on his phone as he took it out and saw a message pop up on the screen from an unknown number saying; "Can we meet?"
His calm and cold expression didn't change but his eyes had slightly come to life as he put away his phone and went back to the conversation happening.
"Sorry, something important came up. I have to leave." He said in a nonchalant tone as he walked backwards to the elevator when the door to the room slid open as Lee Jae-Sik walked out and spotted a familiar figure.
"Choi Hyun-Woo?" Jae-Sik said, as Kang In-Hyuk and Kim Yeon-Hee came out, staring at Hyun-Woo who turned around and saw them as well.
"I thought you were supposed to inform us when the killer sent you the photos. What happened?" Kang In-Hyuk asked, walking towards Hyun-Woo who seemed unbothered by the sudden confrontation.
"Ah, I was supposed to do that… IlI'll remember to call next time." He replied, turning around to walk away.
"Actually, we need you to come down to the station with us." Kang In-Hyuk stopped him.
"Am I under arrest or under suspicion?" Hyun-Woo asked nonchalantly while he turned back to face Kang In-Hyuk.
"No, we just need your input on something." Kang In-Hyuk replied as the hallway was quiet with everyone staring at Choi Hyun-Woo who stared at Kang In-Hyuk with a neutral expression before he spoke.
"I'll come to the station later, right now I have important matters to attend to." He spoke as he turned around and walked to the elevator.
"That rude punk." Jae-Sik muttered as everyone was quiet.
The doctor excused himself and left as Sun-Jae watched from his bed while unable to see Choi Hyun-Woo before the confrontation ended.
