As the sun was about to set, leaving the sky a beautiful peach colour at the harbor. Jin-Ah's brother was leaning on the hood of the car trunk while on a phone call that was not going well.
"What?! The police!" He replied in shock, learning that the scrapyard had been raided which meant that the files on the human trafficking ring had most likely been discovered.
"F**k… and the guys? Did they get arrested too?" He scratched his head as he received a positive answer.
"F**k!" He swore out loud, throwing his phone into the sea as he walked back and stood in front of the trunk of the car.
"Dammit, escaping to China is going to be even more difficult now." He said to himself. All of his plans were ruined.
The APB presumably out on him for first-degree murder and kidnapping already made matters of getting a new identity and a boat to take him to China incredibly difficult for him.
Now, with the human trafficking incident revealed which was bound to alarm the coast guard, meant that the bribe performed was most likely useless along with the fact that he was not the one who bribed the guards and also that they didn't know him, threw out the possibility of him leaving the country.
"Oh Nam-Jun, that skinny b**ch, why did he have to get arrested." He said spitefully, looking at the trunk of the car.
"I'll sell her tonight and make some money to pay some f**ckers to hide me for a while. Yeah, I'll do that." He said, walking to the front door of the and entering it to get some rest as the buyers were only arriving in a few hours.
Still trapped in the trunk of the old car was Im Jin-Ah who was lying in foetal position while having not eaten anything for a whole twenty hours which left her stomach constantly grumbling with her throat dry.
Her eyes were red from sobbing nonstop in the darkness until no more tears could come out as she was teetering on the edge of giving up hope on being rescued, faintly hearing the conversation ensuing with her brother, along with the sound of waves crashing and the horn of a ship.
'The sea? Is he really going to sell me off? No way, no please.' Jin-Ah begged inwardly as she opened her mouth to try and yell for help but with no energy and how painful her throat was, she could only weakly mutter a few words.
"Help me… Help me… Please." She muttered feeling the urge to cry but no tears would come out.

"Stop, he'll die at that point."
In the interrogation room, delivering the last devastating right hook into Oh Nam-Jun's face and breaking his nose while still gripping onto his greasy hair was Kim Yeon-Hee who had decided to use her result yielding "interrogation" method.
After seeing the state the Kim Dae-Bom came back in, which also came with getting an ear-full from the Chief about getting the son of a member of Parliament injured, made Yeon-Hee boil with anger.
And who better to take it out on than the scumbag related to the case who remained quiet.
'It's for the investigation!' Yeon-Hee yelled inward, letting go of Oh Nam-Jun's hair and taking out a black notebook.
"Start writing now." She said, taking in a deep breath as she looked at the reflective glass where Tae-Seok was standing behind keeping guard as he stared at Yeon-Hee give him a thumbs up.
"Insane." He said, scoffing while shaking his head.
