Kai and Mike drove away from Mike's house, eager to explore Kai's new mansion.
"Yoh, bro, this new house of yours sounds cool," Mike said, grinning.
Kai smiled mischievously. "You'll see. There are surprises. I don't want to waste the experience."
Mike's curiosity piqued. "No, bro, don't waste the surprise! Don't spoil the price!"
Kai chuckled. "Mike, there's something else."
Mike's expression turned serious. "What is it, bro? You're scaring me."
Kai reassured him. "No, it's not bad. Emily called me last night."
Mike nodded. "What's up?"
Kai's expression turned solemn. "Two guys tried to rape her, but I took care of it. She's safe now."
Mike's eyes widened, concern etched on his face. "Oh, bro! Is Emily okay?"
Kai nodded. "Yes, she's fine. It wasn't so bad. She didn't need to go to the hospital."
Mike's face lit up with admiration. "Whoa, bro! You're amazing! I knew you could handle it. You saved her, bro. That's incredible."
Kai's voice filled with emotion. "I just did what was right, Mike."
Mike placed a hand on Kai's shoulder. "You're a true hero, bro."
As Kai and Mike approached the mansion, Mike's admiration for Kai's heroism still lingered.
"Bro, you're a true hero," Mike repeated.
Kai smiled, feeling proud. "I just did what was right, Mike."
Mike's expression turned curious. "So, what's the status with Emily now? You two close?"
Kai's smile widened. "Actually, Mike, Emily and I...we're together now."
Mike's eyes lit up. "Whoa, bro! Congratulations! I didn't know it was that serious."
Kai chuckled. "It happened last night, after everything. We talked, and...it just clicked."
Mike grinned. "I'm happy for you, bro! Emily's amazing. You two are perfect."
As they pulled up to the mansion, Kai's excitement grew. "Let's show you around. You'll love it."
Mike whistled as they stepped out. "This is insane, bro! Your own paradise."
Kai smiled, feeling grateful. "Thanks to Reginald. He gave me this incredible gift."
Mike's eyes sparkled. "And now you've got Emily. Life's good, bro!"
As they approached the mansion, Mike's eyes widened in awe.
"Oh, bro! This is your house? Bro, this is incredible! Look at the outside, the garden...it's amazing!" Mike exclaimed.
Kai chuckled, pleased to share his new home.
"And I'm your friend, bro! It's a pleasure to be your friend, standing in this great mansion," Mike said, emphasizing their bond.
Upon entering, Mike asked, "Is there a pool?"
Kai nodded. "Yes, let's check it out. We just need to go through the front door to get to the back."
As Kai approached the front door, he said, "Door open."
The door swung open, and Mike's eyes widened further.
"What did you say? What did you do? What happened?" Mike asked, stunned.
Kai grinned. "I forgot to tell you – these doors are automated."
Mike's jaw dropped. "Automated? Bro, you're living in a new tech era or something!"
Inside, Mike marveled at the spacious room, chandelier, and glass floors.
Miss Sophia, seated in the room, went unnoticed by Mike until he turned to her.
"Sorry, hey Miss Sophia. I didn't see you there," Mike said, embarrassed.
Miss Sophia laughed warmly. "It's alright, Mike."
Kai reassured him. "It's alright, Mike. You wanted to see the pool, right?"
Mike's enthusiasm returned. "Oh, yes bro! Let's go!"
As they stepped out back, Mike's eyes bulged.
"What? This pool is huge, bro! I have to pay to use pools, and now I can just come to my bro's house and take a swim!"
Kai broke a joke and said, "Uh, maybe I have to charge you since you want to freeload off me."
Then Mike said, "Bro, you're not serious, are you? You wouldn't charge me, would you? Look at this pool! You know I don't have that much money, bro."
Kai chuckled. "I'm just kidding, bro. How can I charge my only friend?"
Mike breathed a sigh of relief. "Don't ever do that to me, bro. I almost thought I'd have to pay! You bet, don't ever do that. I almost scared out of... I scared until I almost thought myself I have to pay, and if it really, I would really pay you to go in this amazing pool."
Kai said, "Uh-huh, don't worry, bro. You are my friend; you can come here anytime."
Mike said, "Thanks, bro."
Kai said, "Okay, bro, let's look inside the house; there are more things."
Then Mike said, "Okay."
Kai took him on a dinner tour, showing him every room. "And this is on the second floor."
Mike exclaimed, "Wow, these steps are so great when I walk on them; they're so fine."
Mike said, "Yes, uh, I didn't tell you, but when Mister Reginald gave me this house for saving his daughter, he put more effort into it. I didn't know he would give me such a big, spacious mansion."
When they went down the steps, Mike said, "Wow, that's great, bro. Mister Reginald is a great guy; I haven't met him yet, but I know he's a great person."
Then they went down the steps, and Kai said, "Hm, Mike, I haven't shown you the garage yet, but I haven't seen the garage myself yet. I was so deep in contemplating this whole house that I didn't see the garage; even I myself parked the car outside. Let's go on this venture and see how the garage looks."
They went to the garage, and Mike wanted Kai to open the garage, but he couldn't. Kai thought, "What happened?" He thought, "The garage doesn't want to open; take the handle, doesn't want to open." He said, "Open up, garage; doesn't want to open."
Then he took out his phone and said, "Hm, maybe I have to call Mister Reginald and see what happens."
So he took out his phone, called Mister Reginald's phone number; the phone rang two times, and he said, "Hello."
Mister Reginald said, "Hey Kai, great for calling. Great thing that you are calling. I just heard that you've gone into your new house."
Kai said, "Wow, you already knew that."
Mister Reginald chuckled.
Kai explained the garage door problem.
Mister Reginald said, "Oh, that's it. So, that house is one of my houses, and I didn't tell you that it's automated. The garage has some surprises for you. I'll send my personal technician to fix it."
Kai exclaimed, "Wow, that's great, Mister Reginald!"
Mister Reginald reassured him, "Okay, I'll send him over right now."
The technician, Mister Blake, arrived in his van and introduced himself. "Hey kid, are you Kai? Mister Reginald sent me to fix the garage door."
Kai confirmed, "Yes, hello Mister Blake."
Mister Blake explained, "I'm Mister Reginald's personal technician. He always sends me for these errands."
Kai nodded, "It's okay, go ahead."
Mister Blake requested, "I need your fingerprint for the garage door. It'll only take ten minutes."
Kai agreed, "Okay, that's great. You can do your job. We'll be around here; just call us."
Mike and Kai chatted by the car while Mister Blake worked. After ten minutes, he called out, "Kai, Mister Kai, I'm finished! Come see the garage."
Mister Blake demonstrated the functions, "Okay, this is a fingerprint scanner. Register your fingerprint, type in your code, and the door will open automatically."
Kai followed the instructions and was amazed. "Wow, that's great!"
As the garage door opened, Kai's eyes widened. Inside were two stunning cars:
- A sleek, black Rolls-Royce Ghost, worth Two Million Seven Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand Rand.
- A luxurious, silver Mercedes-Benz S-Class S 650 Maybach, worth Two Million Four Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand Rand to Three Million Four Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand Rand.
Kai was shocked and grateful. He called Mister Reginald, "Mister Reginald, I thank you for the amazing gifts in the garage!"
Mister Reginald chuckled, "Hello Kai, no need to thank me. As a shareholder in this company, those cars are yours. Consider it my gift to you."
Kai explored the spacious garage, capable of fitting up to five cars.
Kai gazed at his garage, admiring the sleek designs. Mike stood beside him, awestruck. "Wow, bro, this garage is incredible! And look at these two cars - are they yours?"
Kai smiled. "Mister Reginald just told me they're mine."
Mike's eyes widened. "Bro, you're filthy rich! No offense, but you're seriously wealthy now. Two luxury cars inside, and a Mercedes-Benz S-Class outside? You gotta test drive them!"
Kai chuckled. "You always want to test drive things, bro. We'll do it soon."
As they walked out, Mister Blake stood outside, observing the duo. He thought to himself, "These two seem new to this lifestyle."
Mister Blake approached Kai. "I'll take off now. Everything's fixed."
Kai thanked him. "Appreciate it, man. Please pass on my gratitude to Mister Reginald. You did an amazing job. I'll put in a good word for you."
Mister Blake smiled. "Thanks, Kai. Nice meeting you."
As Mister Blake departed, he wondered, "How does this young guy know Mister Reginald? What's their connection? I was told to fix the garage at one of Mister Reginald's houses for an acquaintance, but...this kid might be more than just an acquaintance."
Kai and Mike remained, excitedly discussing their test drive plans.
