Rei rocked his feet back and forth while standing in the elevator, thankfully he was the only person in it. He looked at the top of the door, where the little display screen was and boringly stared as the numbers changed from 7 to 27.
The elevator doors slid open and he was met with a pair of dark brown eyes that had upturned eyebrows to compliment them. His fingers on the straps of his bag, that hung on his waist, tightened as he stared at the guy, who now looked surprised, pensively. "Mr Dedante!..." the young man said, rather loudly. "Who're you?" Rei asked, still pensive and the young man raised his brow after finally relaxing it for the first time since that morning--he really wasn't having a great day.
The young man ignored Rei's question and held him by the arm, he dragged him to a rosewood door and ruthlessly shoved him in, shouting, "Sir! Mr Dedante is here!" and he zoomed off.
Rei who was then standing in the room, had no choice but to compose himself and face the matter head on. He looked straight ahead only to see a spin-able chair that was facing the large ceiling to floor window. He tilted his head as the owner of the seat turned around swiftly and looked at him with a piercing gaze.
"Dedante, so you showed up after all" a smirk graced itself on the man's face but Rei only stared back, thinking of something that seemed smart enough to say. "Mr. Baynette...from what I heard you are my boss, I am here to clear a misunderstanding"
Kyle quirked a brow and kept silent, leaving room for Rei to explain his excuse. "I actually work at a mall named 'Luxury's best stop' I am a clerk there, umm, I don't really know what to do as a PA so I...what I'm trying to say is I can't work as your PA" he finished.
Kyle stared at him for a straight minute before parting his lips to say through gritted teeth, "Are you kidding me?" Rei became speechless, 'Ahhhhh, leave me be! I ain't your dedante!!' he cursed in his head but said nothing out loud.
"Dedante, when you came out on top of the other interviewees, you were so ecstatic. I asked if you would be able to handle the job with all seriousness and you agreed, promised even. You want to go back on your own words now? You think it's so easy to find capable people?! Are you working for another company trying to keep me from having someone who helps me organize?!"Kyle complained in an angry voice.
Rei became wary, "But sir..." Kyle didn't let him finish and said, "If you don't do your job properly henceforth I promise to make your life a living hell" Rei was shocked to say the least. He stared at Kyle with a wanton expression and scoffed under his breath muttering, "What a bastard, tch" Kyle sensing his sass frowned and asked what he said but Rei then knowing that he had no choice if he wanted to survive by making money, he would have to be respectful said nothing.

Rei huffed, he had been walking up and down all day and his body was starting to protest. Kyle had given him a whole booklet on what to do and what not to do and he was meant to study it completely and know it by heart. If that wasn't punishment enough, Kyle had been ordering him around and working him like a dog! He even had him run some errands for other departments even if he was meant to work exclusively for Kyle.
What a troublesome man indeed!
"9:45 pm" Rei said aloud looking at his watch after dropping a large box of miscellaneous items in the storage room. He scowled dropping his hand down and sighing. He put his hands on hips, drawing his mouth into a thin line while staring into space. 'What did I ever do wrongly in my past life to come and suffer like this? When people reincarnate don't they usually enter a rich family or have a system?! Why is the world turning her back on me? Is it because of that one time I pushed Kaitlyn down the slide and she got injured but as the only witness lied that she slipped? Or maybe it's because I helped my classmates steal our teachers materials so he can extend the deadline for the assignment?"
So many unnecessary worries plagued his mind and he felt lost and confused without any help. He got startled when someone suddenly exclaimed, "Ah! You scared me" He looked to be faced by a brunette haired man who looked about the same age as him.
"Who are you?"
