Rei was a woken by the soft ping of his phone... or rather, he was awake but only moved when he heard the notification sound from his phone. Picking it up from the top of the cabinet beside his bed, he peered at the screen with a tentative frown.

He scratched his head as he recalled every thing that had happened since he came here and subtly remembered agreeing to meet the receptionist.

Rei shrugged as he received the text showing how to get there. He stood up from bed and went to get ready.
He freshened up and scanned his closet for a minute before choosing the black body tight shirt he had bought yesterday and pairing it with an equally black cargo pants, which was free around the legs but tight on the ankle.
He put on black boots that didn't cross his ankle and had a small platform under it, to increase his height. Looking at himself in the mirror he wondered if he overdid it but shrugged off the thought.
'There's nothing like too much fashion'
He informed Vani and went out of the house, getting a taxi to drive him to the location Dalia sent him. Upon his arrival, he stood at the entrance of the cafe and scanned the shop for the black haired lady. A hand wrapped with a plaid jacket sleeve shot up in a wave in his peripheral and he looked over to see the lady.
He sat down across her and said, "Hi" while she smiled widely at him, "I ordered a macchiato, is that okay for you?"
He replied "sure" but was infact not okay with it since he was thinking of having boba with a lot of tapioca pearls—he couldn't say anything because he didn't want the lady to think she's coming off as rude; ordering for someone else without their preference in mind. He barely knew her even.
He spent the rest of the afternoon conversing with her after they had cleared up the work related problems of his first day. It turned out that she was a natural mood maker and so the conversation took place seamlessly.
When the sky began dimming, she proposed leaving and he agreed. She faced him and said, "From the first day you came to ask for a job, I knew we'd click. Well, where I live isn't too far off so I'll walk, you're taking a taxi?" he hummed and flagged a taxi which stopped in front of him. "Thanks for today, it was really nice. You're cool" he said as he entered the taxi, giving her a thumb up to which she laughed and replied, "You're not so bad yourself"
They bid goodbyes again before finally leaving.
When Rei got home he went to freshen up and settled for a cream coloured sweater and faded green pants with thick black socks covering his feet. He went to Vani's room to check if he was in there but he wasn't so he guessed he would be in the gaming room.
He knocked softly before opening the door of the gaming room and saw Vani who sat on his gaming chair with a headset covering his ears; he wore a black jacket on top of a black tank top and khaki pants. Seeing he was live, he decided to just get out of the room but Vani had seen him from the camera and turned around, forgetting about the game he was commanding.
"You're back"
"I am...um, you can keep playing I was just wondering if I could cook something for the both of us" he stepped fully into the room walking closer to the computer screen which made him more visible to the fans watching.

Vani replied to him, "I'll eat whatever you give me" "Oh, okay then" Rei turned to leave but Vani said, "Can you say hi to the camera? You've been live with me before but that was when I didn't have a fan base and you...you know"
Rei understood. He walked forward and bent over beside Vani, he waved with his fingers spread before waving with a v sign. "Hi everyone, I'm Rei, have a happy time watching him play I guess" he said with a small smile.
Vani said to the camera, "He's my housemate" and Rei stood back up before leaning over again to say, "Oh, i know this game! It's super hard to play!" he stood straight again to look at Vani as Vani spoke, "It's not that hard, you're just slow"
"Okay, rude" Rei spoke in an offended tone and commented, "They made this game for pros and the aspiring and I'm too busy to sit around all day learning some set of rules and mastering them to play a game. I've a job?"
" Mm, yeah, you do"
" Whatever, I'm going" he leaned again to give the camera one last look, "Bye"

I am really sorry for not uploading for the past three weeks (almost a month😅). At first, I planned to have a regular schedule for uploading and I decided either Fridays or Saturdays but the first week, I travelled on that day and the past two weeks.....I've just been lazy. My bad. School will start soon and it's mostly when I have school that I write so.....
