"What are you trying to say, Idrus?" Iridessa questioned, rising from his lap and gazing up at him.
"I assure you, I will put an end to whatever operation is taking place there," Idrus declared, his tone filled with determination. Iridessa's eyes narrowed with worry.
"Idrus, please don't do anything that could put you in danger," Iridessa pleaded, gently placing her hand on his cheek and feeling his warmth. She couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to him; that's how deeply she cared and loved him.
"I promise," he replied, a smile gracing his lips as he took her hand and planted a tender kiss on it. Iridessa couldn't help but giggle. Being with him brought her immense joy, and no matter how much she pretended to be upset with him, deep down, she truly wasn't.
