Idrus turned abruptly when Indiana made her statement, his brows furrowed in confusion.
"What are you trying to say?" he questioned, his gaze fixed on her as she sat on the couch. She met his eyes, tears shimmering in them.
"Indiana, what prophecy are you talking about?" Kragen chimed in, joining her on the couch. Idrus's mind raced, desperately trying to comprehend her words.
The prophecy had to be significant. What did she mean by it? Could it possibly be...
And then it hit him. "You're referring to the prophecy of Tallulah. How does that relate to Iridessa?" Idrus asked, running his hand through his hair.
Indiana looked up at him, a sense of resignation and defeat in her eyes. She knew she couldn't keep it hidden any longer. Despite the efforts of her and the other guardians to protect Iridessa and prevent the prophecy from coming true, they had ultimately failed.
