Indiana nodded in agreement and averted her gaze from Idrus.
"We gave her what the goddess had given us, and she eagerly started to suck on it, a smile forming on her innocent face," Indiana recounted with a smile, tears trickling down her cheeks as she reminisced about the joy in those silver eyes.
"I couldn't bear to let her go," she whispered, her tears cascading down her cheeks like a waterfall
"But circumstances forced us to, so we reluctantly brought her to the human realm, thinking an orphanage would provide her with a better life. Oh, how wrong we were," Indiana lamented, wiping her tear-stained face with her trembling hand.
