"Why are you moving away from me and sitting so far?" Idrus questioned Iridessa, a playful smile on his face as he watched her pout and take a seat on the couch.
"You do realize that won't change anything, right? You're still going to face the consequences," Idrus stated, his gaze fixed on her face, waiting for her reaction. But she continued to pout, undeterred.
"I couldn't care less," she retorted, causing Idrus' eyes to narrow. Without warning, he turned around and gently cupped her face with his hand.
"Do you have any idea how you affect me, my little kitten?" he inquired, his eyes meeting hers, a fiery anger burning within them. The intensity of her gaze only served to arouse him further.
