"Please sit, sister," she offered, and I sat down looking at her.
"So why did you invite me?" I asked going straight to the point. I just had a hectic day and didn't have time to beat around the bush.
"Don't be like that, sister. It's been a while since we last did this," she said smiling.
"I see."
"I just wanted us to chat," she said and I nodded.
"So what do you want to talk about?" I asked as my attention drifted to the cake on the table. She kept talking about her experience in magic class or whatever, and whining about what she wanted, and as a good sister I nodded, smiled and ate. She didn't know I was smiling because of the cake.
After the long conversation with Lily, I went back to my room feeling drained. I am starting to get why everyone likes Lilyanne, she's kind of adorable and whiny like a child, which proves that she lets the affection get to her head, I mean who wouldn't. I should take her out for sweets later, she's like Ronnie a little sister, which is funny because I'm supposed to be younger. Anyway I should just befriend her, it's best to have more friends than enemies.
I got here a week ago, got tortured by Lady Nort, went to a ball, met a ghost and also met my killer, my life is very eventful now. I wonder if transmigration is a bad thing here, if I tell someone, will I get stoned and called a witch? I don't want to know. I'll just focus on surviving the book first, then I'll work towards leaving.
There are four male leads, as for those that I've met, there's Avery Ryland. He's a merchant that wants to monopolize all the businesses in the country. He was a commoner that took every opportunity handed to him and worked his way to the top and became one of the richest merchants. The underground world of dark magic and all that literally bow to him. He enjoys scheming and suffers from a serious case of trust issues, but once you're on his good side, well, let's just say you're lucky. This is why I would make sure to befriend him, help him win Lilyanne's heart, and then usurp his money. He is actually a lout in private but acts all high and mighty in public, and he has a weakness that I don't know about. Everything I'm mentioning is based on references from the novel.
Then there's my killer, Ryle. The hot master of the magic tower, also a commoner that was taken in by the royal family because of his extreme magical powers, became the master of the magic tower at age fourteen. A prodigy that slashed Rose and threw her in the forest of monsters and nightmares, Hale. I just need to avoid him, and I'm good to go.
And there's the prince and the knight or swordsman, not that I care about them, it's just innocent curiosity. I'll forget about them and focus on my goal. In conclusion, in other to fulfill my goal, I just have to befriend the rich guy and avoid the magician, pretty easy.
…
I sat in my room the whole day after my outing trying to come up with my itinerary for my journey, since money is not a problem considering my fat pocket and rich friend to be. It took two days to draft the base plan and a few more days to prepare a means of travelling, everyone must be wondering why I needed a map. Now that those are set, all I have to do is get fat.
I skipped through the halls of the mansion, feeling excited about the development in my plan. I stopped at Lilyanne's room and knocked gently. I thought about it and Lily didn't do anything to Rose, well, not directly though, she might have gotten carried away but if I befriended her on time we won't have an issue later on.
"Come in," I heard her soft voice say, I opened the door slowly, smiling at her.
"Morning, Lilyanne," I said.
"Good morning, sister. What brings you here?" She asked.
"I thought about it and I'd like to invite you to something since you invited me for tea before," I said looking around her room, it was bigger than mine.
"Sure I'll come," she said, her smiling brightening up.
"I haven't told you what it is," I said, shaking my head in amusement.
"Whatever it is, I'm interested," she said. So adorable!"
"Well, I'm not good at tea parties." Because the snacks would be gone before you arrive. "So after the Green's ball, let's have a girls' day out," I said.
"Girls day out?" She asked confused.
"Yes, we'll go out and have fun, eat sweets and all that," I said, already imagining what I'd eat.
"The second night of the festival would be perfect," she said. Nice thinking, Lily.
"That would be perfect," I agreed. The food would be twice as delicious as it would be every other day. God, I hope I don't get a cavity.
In all honesty, I would need a tag along for my food exploration and the only person available is Lily, so sorry, but I'd be using you. I hope I don't mistakenly get the female lead fat. If I took Millie, it would be no fun but since Lily is clingy like a dog and does everything obediently, I could just feed her anything. Gosh, I miss Ronnie.
I will live a life with fewer enemies and more friends, but that doesn't mean there aren't some people that I will avoid, including the remaining members of the Percando family. I don't want any trouble, so I'd just focus on my many delicacies and avoid those troubles. Maybe I could even befriend the main villain, that's a very funny thought.
I intend crossing out all the names on my friends list and crossing out the names of those I want to avoid from my life, I have to survive, and I'd do it any way possible.
