"Hello brother." a so familiar yet so alien voice mutters. Kevin looks up with astonishment as the voice moves through the portal above him. The mysterious man carries himself through the air on his orange butterfly-like wings and his golden eyes meet Kevin's own. Kevin senses energy screaming from within his body as he gazes over his flawless orange skin marked with strange symbols and black hair. "What do you mean? Brother? Who are you?" Kevin murmurs taking a step back. "I suppose dear old dad never did introduce us." the man says with a chuckle. "I am Frederick, your dearest brother." He says as he takes a step forward toward Kevin. "I have no brother." Kevin mutters his mind aching with confusion as he can't process what's in front of him. This man's body surges with same energy as him, Kevin for once cannot process what's in front of him.
"There's two of you now? Oh well, more to slaughter for the great maw!" The Cathanian king mutters raising his spear. "Silence." Frederick says and the king along with everyone on the planet falls to there knees, suddenly inflicted with paralysis. Kevin's eyes widen and he steps forward. "What have you done?" Kevin mutters feeling sympathy for everyone even for the race of murderers as they are forced into silence. "Stopped these pathetic creatures from interrupting our discussion. I have much to tell you my brother." Frederick mutters as he looks down at the once raging king with a sense of superiority and disgust. "Like what?" Kevin says, his mind filled with curiosity along with underlying suspicion. "I'd just like to confirm. You are aware of what you are right? You are aware that you are one of the all mighty's children right?" Frederick asks his gaze flickering over Kevin's green skin seemingly analyzing him.
"You mean my creator? The one who abandoned me?" Kevin mutters, his voice filled with suspicion and confusion. "Abandoned you?" Frederick asks seemingly baffled, his voice now taking on a sense of underlying anger. "Our father chose us! Blessed us with his gift!" Frederick yells. "And yet he left these other beings to rot in mortality. He never even looked at me!" Kevin yells back, his mind reprocessing his creation. "He made you to rule! He made us to keep these worthless fleshbags in check! We are gods because of him!" Frederick roars back, his voice now filled with anger at Kevin's words. "He created me for the hell of it! Just like everything else! He left me to live alone in a miserable world of death and misery! I had to make my own path!" Kevin snaps back, tears welling up in his golden eyes.
"Your own path! You mean to tell me your proud of what you've done? Look at this miserable world!" Frederick yells raising his arms and the crustacean-like horrors circle around the bowing king. "These savages minds can't even comprehend the meaning in this beautiful tapestry! This one slaughters in the name of a god who has paid him nothing in return! It doesn't even exist!" Frederick yells as he vanishes and appears in front of the Cathanian king pressing his foot down onto his head. "They may not be perfect but that means they need help. I can use my power to-" Kevin says but is quickly cut off by Frederick.
"Use your power? Help them?! They are nothing but shriveling worms beneath our feet! Only made to serve us! And yet you've given them power that doesn't belong to them! Spoiled there insolent lives with a gift meant for you!" Frederick roars his body shaking with rage. "I don't care what they were made for! I don't care about our so called father! A father is meant to love and care for his children! Yet he leaves us all to rot!" Kevin yells back as golden tears run down his face. A god wept for the mortals weakness while another felt disgust at there pitiful lives.
"ENOUGH!" Frederick yells as his arm forms into a crab-like pincer and slams it through the kings back. Even with his given immortality, the king's body gushes blood and falls to the floor crumbling to ash. His red skin decays on the pavement of the royal castle. A king slaughtered like a peasant on his own land. Kevin's eyes widen and he freezes for a moment, his mind a whirlwind at the scene before him. "Do you see now?! There nothing! Even with your kindness they still fall to the ground like cattle! That is what our creator intended! That is your purpose! To do with these insolent creatures as we like!" Frederick yells, his golden eyes meeting Kevin as blood spills from his arm onto the floor above.
"How could you do that? How could you take someone's life so easily? How could you even think your in the right doing that?" Kevin says quietly his mind overwhelmed as tears run down his face, his expression one of pain. Frederick steps back toward Kevin listening intently seemingly judging his words and expression as he tilts his head. Kevin watches as the king's blood is drunken from the floor by the monstrous companion Frederick keeps. His eyes flicker with pain and shock as he looks back to see a child in a cage collapsed against the bars, not able to look away and forced to witness someone's execution. Unfair.
Kevin feels a foreign emotion enter his mind, crawling inside like a parasite and spreading like poison through his superior brain. He feels an intensity as he looks back up at Frederick. He feels rage. "If it is our creator who says that life is nothing but a form of entertainment for him. If our god's will is to have people suffer while we bask in their pain. If our father wishes to leave me alone and abandoned in his wicked world then I want nothing to do with him." Kevin mutters his body shaking with rage and a deep sadness as tears falls down his eyes. His only chance at finally having the family he yearned for laid in front of him. His only brother the opposite of him.
"But that's not true anymore brother. I've finally found you. We can rule together over his reality. Don't you see? He left us to govern his reality while he worked above. He has given us a divine purpose above these lowly ants. We can finally unite in our destiny." Frederick said as he spread his arms to embrace his brother.
