"So many." Ardor Huo's eyes were dark. He couldn't do anything during that whole fight, and could only watch helplessly.
Yuki closed her eyes tightly, trying to erase the scene in front of her. But nothing worked as the image kept appearing in her mind. This scene was going to stay in her memories for a long time. But she never forgot one thing. Sunrise village!
Considering that this man didn't care about the life of others, he couldn't imagine what he would do to her home village. The thought of her sister and friends being hurt or worse, killed, made her sick to her stomach, and a huge mental stimulation made her level go from level 13 to 14!
Huang Ran let out a breath and said with a light smile, "We should leave."
Yuki nodded slowly as Ardor Huo picked up Mei Mei and handed her to Huang Ran. Arthur, who was done helping the villagers, finally came over and asked what happened.
"What happened to everyone? And why is Mei Mei unconscious?" Arthur asked, concerned about Mei Mei's condition.
Huang Ran looked at him and replied in a solemn tone, "Let's get out of here first and start heading to Sunrise village, and we'll tell you then."
Yuki looked at Huang Ran's back as they started to walk in the direction of Sunrise village, her teeth clenched.
'That man, I can't forgive him!' Yuki thought, and unsummoned her spirit to save her strength.
The five set off to Sunrise village, while Huang Ran explained what happened.
"So some guy ate a black finger? Want's Yuki's heart or something? And is it related to the Abyss?" Arthur summarized what he heard.
Huang Ran nodded and said, "Yeah, and it seems like that man has an alliance with the Abyss. We don't know his goal, but it seems that Yuki has something to do with it. As well as the black fingers."
"But why Yuki?" Arthur asked, his hand rubbing his chin.
"We don't know. He said he didn't want to kill her, but at the same time also said he wanted her heart."
Arthur remained silent and looked at Mei Mei with a sad look. The girl was still unconscious from using up a lot of her Kongli, but it seems that she will be fine after getting a good rest.
"Well, then what does he want in Sunrise village?" Arthur asked.
"I don't know." Huang Ran said, looking up into the distance.
"Well, you'll find out when we get there."
Yuki tried to calm down her breath as they moved closer to Sunrise Village. Her heartbeat was thunderous, and the sound of blood rushing through her body was audible in her ears. She was anxious about her sister and the others who took good care of her. She just hoped that they were safe.
'I'm coming! Wait for me! sister, everyone!' Yuki thought, increasing her pace and starting to run towards the distant mountain.
The others watched as Yuki left them behind. Her speed was incredible, as she started to grow scales and claws in order to move faster. Huang Ran felt like laughing when he saw Yuki, but didn't as it wasn't the right time for that. Instead, he summoned his dragon spirit, and pressed on as well, followed by the others.

The two quickly reached Sunrise village without encountering any enemies. The mountain blocking to the other side wasn't big nor long in length, so it only took them an hour and a half to get by while trying to conserve some strength. They wanted to see how the situation was first before making a move.
As they approached the village, Yuki's face turned pale when she saw the signs of a fight. The wooden gate had been smashed and the trees near the mountain had been burned by some kind of purple fire. There were scorch marks on the ground, and it looked like some kind of acid had been used as well. Although you couldn't see anyone, you could still hear the screams and yells of people fighting.
"Is the Abyss really coming out?" Huang Ran asked, and rushed into the village with Yuki following closely behind him.
After entering the village, the sight in front of them shocked them to their core. Everywhere was on fire, and there were corpses and dead bodies scattered around. Some of the villagers were injured, and others had lost their lives in this fight. There were many purple and black gooey creatures walking around with blood dripping from their mouths. They seemed to be humanoid creatures, as they had two arms and legs and their heads looked human. But they had no skin, and their bones were covered by the same black goo. They had large round mouths that were filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth that reminded one of a shark's mouth.
"Umbraviath." Huang Ran said, after taking a quick glance at the black figures.
Yuki, on the other hand, was panicking when she looked at the villagers who were injured. Some had been eaten by the Umbraviaths, but most were only injured and didn't seem to be in danger.
"They're dead. Umbraviath are poisonous, and can eat through someone's body within minutes." Huang Ran said, using his Golden Dragons aura to kill the Umbraviath who was chomping on someone's arm. The Umbraviath shuddered as its body was smashed into a pool of blue liquid.
"Do you know where your sister is?" Huang Ran asked Yuki, who was shaking in fear. She had never seen this kind of situation before, and was completely in a daze.
She came to her senses after hearing his voice and pointed at her house. It was a little bit away from here, so it might be safe. Huang Ran nodded and gently picked Yuki up, then ran towards her house. The Umbraviath glanced at him and started chasing him. Huang Ran stomped his feet on the ground, and the ground shook, and the shockwave entered their body, causing them to explode.
Yuki was shocked by his display of strength. Perhaps him getting his ass beat by Auryn Eklipse made her subconsciously think he's weak. But at this moment, she realized how stupid she was for thinking that. This man was as strong as the dark figure in her dream!
'If Huang Ran can easily defeat those things, how powerful was that man?' Yuki thought as they made their way towards her house.
When they reached her house, Huang Ran immediately broke through the door and put Yuki down.
"Sister!" Yuki shouted as soon as she entered the room. But no one responded.
"Where is she?" Huang Ran asked, looking around the room for any sign of an enemy.
The house was completely empty, and there were no signs of anyone being here.
"I-I don't know." Yuki said, looking around the room in panic.
Huang Ran sighed and said in a serious tone, "She's probably gone."
Yuki froze when she heard what he said. She looked around and scanned the room several times. Her sister was definitely not here! that means she is outside somewhere in the hoard of the Abyss!
