Days would pass without Yuki knowing. To her, time meant nothing to her while training. She would absorb Kongli and release it, letting it strengthen her muscles, then repeat the same process again and again until the Kongli inside of her body reaches the point where it is breaking out of her body.
If one looked at Yuki from far away, they would only see a figure moving around nonstop, sometimes she would be doing push ups, other times she would be meditating or punching a bronze target, but with each punch, it would send small cracks all over the place, causing a huge shockwave and a loud bang.
Her control over Kongli has also increased. If she wanted, she could counteract the hot steam in the air and turn them into sharp ice particles. Of course she wouldn't do this because she doesn't want to damage the Heart of Metal.
Yuki released a deep breath and looked at her body in the mirror. She had a slim but healthy body with moderately developed muscles, and her white hair was fluttering in the steamy wind. Her skin was as pale as ever and her gray eyes were shining brightly in the steamy room.
After so much hard work, Yuki feels like she can break through the bottleneck and reach the next level.
After taking a shower, Yuki headed back to the Snow Dragon Clan and went into her room. Sitting down on a pillow made out of ice, Yuki entered a meditative state.
The Kongli in her body had gotten denser and more powerful than before. Yuki could feel her blood circulating faster than before and it felt like it was on fire. Yuki sat cross-legged with her hands on her lap and refined her mental and physical energy to pure Kongli.
Instantly, Yuki could feel her body ache like never before. Kongli was forcefully being released from her body, and if Yuki didn't have such a strong mind, she would have been screaming in pain.
Outside of her body, pure white and sea blue Kongli energy could be seen spreading out and rushing back to her body in a cycle.
As time went on, the pain lessened, and the cycle of Kongli in her body became faster and stronger. Her white hair started to slowly float, and her gray eyes turned into a metallic blue color.
Slowly, her white hair started to slowly float in the air as the Kongli in her body grew more and more powerful, becoming purer by the second.
But suddenly, Yuki's body was bathed in a sea of blue energy as she slowly stood up in mid-air with a small smile on her face. The Kongli around her was constantly gathering towards her body as Yuki released a long sigh.
"Looks like I succeeded." Yuki murmured, looking down at her hands with a complex expression on her face. The Kongli inside of her body was seven times more powerful than before, and she could feel her muscles were at least three times stronger than before.
Yuki lifted her hands up, and concentrated. Suddenly, Yuki gasped for breath and fell to the ground with a pained expression on her face.
'...Holy shit.'
Her new Spirit Skill: Cryo-Asphyxiation. It's a chilling skill that saps the very breath from its victims, leaving them gasping for air as their lungs freeze solid within their chests.
She just used this ability on herself, and it nearly cost her life.
In fact, she even noticed something odd about her body when she used this technique.
'It looks like my body is becoming more similar to a Dragon's body.'
The most noticeable difference would be the scale patterns on her body. They were white in color and were patterned like snowflakes. Her claws were getting longer and sharper, and she even felt that she was growing a tail, but she could hide that.
'It looks like if I continue cultivating this Kongli, my body will become more Dragon-like, but I don't know what effect that will have on me.' Yuki thought, slowly getting up with a conflicted expression on her face.
"Looks like I need to be more careful when using this Spirit Skill." Yuki murmured, shaking her head with a smile on her face, unsummoning her spirit, turning back into her usual self.
She then walked out of the room with a complex expression on her face as looked at the visitor in front of her.
"Senior Li." Yuki said, staring at Meng Li.
Meng Li looked at Yuki with a complex look. She inquired what happened during her mission before coming here, so she knew about the death of her sister, but also the fact that she could feel that Yuki reached level 21.
"Congratulations on breaking through." Meng Li said, giving Yuki a warm smile.
"Thank you, senior." Yuki replied, not very excited that she could reach this level.
Meng Li could sense her changes, and sighed a little.
"Look, I won't beat around the bush." Meng Li said, wiping her smile from her face as she stared at Yuki with a serious look. "As you already know, the Abyssal Plane has been acting up. Knowing that someone with the Abyss is a part of the Sun and Moon Kingdom is a very big deal to our Dragon Sect."
Yuki nodded, but there was a strange look in her eyes.
"What does this have to do with me?'" Yuki asked.
"Well, since we don't know who it is and has a slight interest in you but doesn't seem to want to kill you, we made a deal with the current King of the Sun and Moon kingdom to allow you to take the entrance test and become a Star Knight."
"Really?" Yuki asked, her mood not changing much.
"Yes." Meng Li replied with a nod.
"Is that the only reason?" Yuki asked again.
"...You are perceptive, I'll give you that." Meng Li said, nodding her head with a smile.
"The Sun and Moon Kingdom has a domain skill that can be learnt. We wish for you to learn that. Of course, we won't ask for you to disclose the technique to the Sect." Meng Li said.
"Right... This has no value to Sect, so why should I?" Yuki asked, narrowing her eyes.
Meng Li smiled. "You're the last snow dragon. Your fist skill is a zone skill, with a domain, who knows how strong you'll be. Maybe you can be the key to seal off the Abyss."
Yuki thought for a while and then asked a question.
"What is a domain skill exactly? I mean, I've experienced it first hand, but I'm not sure how it works."
"Domains are unique to the Sun and Moon kingdom." Meng Li started to explain, "A domain works like zone skills, but creates a world using your Kongli and makes the environment perfect for you. How is it like a zone skill? Zone skills can be released from anywhere around the user. It could be released from the backs of your enemies. Regular skills have a set spawn that is normal and comes from their body. A domain allows you to release your regular spirit skills anywhere in the domain."
Yuki's eyes narrowed as she thought of something.
"It doesn't seem like the guy who used his domain could use his spirit skills anywhere he wanted." Yuki said.
"He probably hasn't mastered it yet." Meng Li said with a shrug of her shoulders.
"Okay, I'll agree to going to the Sun and Moon Kingdom. What benefits do I get though?"
