"If only I was faster! I could've saved her!" Yuki was on the ground in front of her sister's grave, crying uncontrollably. But she didn't forget her last words, and stood up from her grave and entered her house. She didn't see anyone in the main living room and entered Ria's room where she sawJin holding some sort of black box.
"Where did you find that?" Yuki asked hoarsely, her tear stained chubby face looking at Jin with an expressionless gaze.
"It was under her bed." Jin said, looking at the box in his hand with greed. "Looks pretty expensive too."
"Give it back." Yuki said, stretching her hand out towards the box.
"Finders keepers." Jin said with a smirk and a hint of ridicule in his eyes.
Yuki, who's emotions were out of control, didn't even hesitate and formed a ball full of snowflakes and slammed it against Jin's head, exploding it. Blood splattered everywhere and Yuki walked towards Jin's lifeless body and picked up the box that had fallen on the ground. She looked at the box that was covered in blood, and opened it without hesitation.
Inside was a scroll along with a black jade necklace. The jade necklace had a snowflake carved into it that sparkled brilliantly in the moonlight. Yuki picked up the scroll and unraveled it, finding that it was a family heirloom from her ancestors. The scroll itself wasn't anything special, but was actually a map. After reading it for a bit, she realized that it was a map of the whole Abyss! Not only that, there were different colored parts on it. She realized that the first level of the Abyss was marked with a red X. After scanning through the map, Yuki figured out that there were three levels in total in the Abyss.
Outer area, inner area, and core area. But there was also something called the "Other side" and was marked in the middle of the map, right in the center of the core area. Yuki, who was filled with curiosity, studied the map to see if there was anything else, but found that it was an ordinary map with some markings.
Putting down the map, she picked back up the jade necklace that was in the box. She stared at it for a second and put it on around her neck, finding that it suited her. She felt the connection of snow grew, and she could form more complex things with her Kongli.
"Sister... Thank you for everything.." Yuki said, looking at her sister's room. Her bed was messily made, and clothes were thrown on the floor. She stepped outside the house and headed to where Ria was buried.
"Sister... I won't rest until I have avenged you. I will also avenge your parents." Yuki said, her face cold. Her voice carried an unnatural amount of weight in her words. She felt like she changed over night, but it wasn't exactly a bad thing. It was just her taking in the reality that this was how the world works. It's eat or be eaten. But that doesn't mean she will make the world pay.
At this moment, Ardor Huo, Mei Mei, Arthur, and Huang Ran, were watching from a distance.
Yuki knew that they were watching her, and turned around and headed towards their direction.
The four looked at Yuki, they wanted to say something, but the only words that came out of their mouths were, "Let's go back."
Yuki nodded her head. "Yes, there is a lot to report."
The four nodded and started heading back to the Dragon Sect.

Two days would pass in a blink of an eye and the group arrived back at the outer area of the Dragon Sect. After having a brief discussion on what to do next, Yuki was the first to split from the group, and allowed Huang Ran to do all of the reporting.
She headed back to the Snow Dragon Clan to practice, as it would just be her alone, and it had double the effects on her cultivation. The other's nodded in understanding and headed in different directions, having their own goals.
When Yuki arrived back at the Snow Dragon Clan, it was already late at night and she found a comfy place to sleep at night and settled down. Before going to sleep, she took some time to cultivate "Fire through the Snow," as her level has increased dramatically, but doesn't have a solid foundation. After doing so, she fell asleep shortly after, but her sleep was short-lived as she was jolted back into her previous life memories.
It was her standing on the tip of an iceberg, looking down at a war that was happening. Suddenly, a cold female voice sounded behind her, making her turn around.
"Xue Hua, look. Can't you see? Snow lays the foundation for everything."
The voice that spoke belonged to an empress in an icy blue dress that was blowing in the wind, her hair was tied up and looked as if it was floating around her.
"Mother, you always said that fire would allow the snow to grow. I now have a rough understanding." Xue Hua said, looking back at the men and women dying below.
"Fire has its use, but fire will always melt the snow." Xue Hua said, but continued before her mother could speak.
"But what if that fire was cold?"
Looking up into the sky, it was completely white, and enormous snowflakes came falling down.
"Yes, we are born in ice, and we die in ice." The Empress said, looking at Xue Hua with a mysterious gaze.
"Snow has no weakness. Only the user's strength determines the outcome of their fate."
"Fate..." Xue Hua muttered. "Fate is simply buried under my snow!"
