The next day Yuki woke up, she felt a shiver go down her spine as she tried to comprehend the memories of her past life as they became more clear. She knew that a bigger batch of information would come crawling to her after leveling up past 20.
She was a princess in her past life. Well, that's what she could tell at least.
Though, the image of her mother being kind and gentle to cold and distant made her heart ache for no reason. Was she perhaps close to her in the past?
Yuki pushed aside those thoughts and went to train. With her only relative dead, Yuki knew she didn't have the luxuries to let her mind wonder to stupid stuff like that, considering that a mad man who is at least level 61 and higher was after her/
For a week straight, Yuki would spend her days cultivating and leveling up. She spent the whole week in the Snow Dragon Clan all alone, and only had her hatred in her heart. Yuki knew that to beat her enemy, she must not be blinded by anger or any emotion, but instead use it to fuel her drive to get stronger.
She didn't want to be weak anymore.
The "Fire through the Snow" cultivation technique was difficult to the point where she would feel her body wanting to give up.
It was as if her body was screaming, begging her to stop, but her mentality was strong enough to trudge through, and finish the whole cultivation session.
Another week would pass like this, and Yuki was at the cusp of reaching level 20. The only drawback would be her strength, as her mental capacity was many times bigger than any other person at the same level. She can only attribute this to her dark past, allowing her to grow at a rapid paste.
Yuki, who was about to go to sleep, decided that tomorrow she will leave the Snow Dragon Clan and head to the Dragon Sect to see if they have anything for training the body.
'Well, they should. After all, this is a Sect mainly based on strength.'
Sleep found Yuki quickly as she fell into a dreamless sleep.
The next morning, Yuki had woken up earlier than usual, and made her way towards the Dragon Sect, feeling refreshed. When she arrived at the gates of the Dragon Sect, she had spotted a familiar face sitting at the gate of the Outer Sect.
"Yuki!' A sweet voice sounded.
Yuki looked at Mei Mei, who was shouting her name and said hello casually. She still wasn't in a good mood, and felt slightly bitter that she couldn't save her sister.
"Hello, Mei Mei." Yuki said, her smile not reaching her eyes.
"Hehe, this is for you." Mei Mei took out a silver card, and stretched it over to her.
"This card can store Sect credits and can be used at any store. One credit is worth 1 gold coin, and this card has 5,000." Mei Mei said, explaining what the card does.
Yuki took the card and thanked her. She knew this was an award from the mission that she had with the group, but still, this was a huge sum of money, and it helped her a lot in her journey of getting stronger.
"You're welcome. What are you looking for?" Mei Mei asked, her eyes curious. She knew Yuki wouldn't come here for no reason.
"I need a place to train my body." Yuki said honestly.
Mei Mei was surprised by Yuki's answer, but laughed afterwards and said, "A good chunk of the stores here can give you the desired effect, but you should only take ones that help in training and not directly increase strength. That is one thing that you have to accomplish on your own."
Yuki nodded and listened intently. She did have her own ideas on how to strengthen her body, but she doesn't have a good grasp on the knowledge of this world.
Yuki followed Mei Mei around the Outer Area of the Dragon Sect. After a few minutes of walking, they stopped at a building that was built out of pure steel. She could smell various scents coming out from it, but it was mainly the body order of the people inside.
"This place is called the 'Heart of Metal'. It's a perfect place if you wish to train your body." Mei Mei explained, looking at Yuki. "To train your body, you can use different types of steams that fill the muscles with strength. Hotter the steam, the better it is."
"Really? Then why is this place filled with a stinky body odor?" Yuki asked, fanning the air around her.
"What? You think the steam will stop you from sweating?" Mei Mei said speechlessly.
Yuki was embarrassed and didn't speak. In fact, she uses her control over the heat and cold to make it so she doesn't sweat. One thing she hates the most is sweating.
"Anyways, this place has an area that helps in cultivating using steam, while also exercising your body. Go give it a try, but don't overdo yourself." Mei Mei said, stretching her hands around, and yawning.
Yuki nodded and walked into the building. There were tons of muscular guys in nothing but a towel on top of their waist. Her gaze was unbiased and didn't pay attention to them. The atmosphere in this place was a bit more stuffy than outside and Yuki could feel her body begin to sweat.
After asking around for a bit, Yuki found an empty room and entered, seeing that it was filled with steam. After she took off all of her clothes and placed them neatly on a hanger that was next to her and picked up a set of clothes that was given to her for free by the Heart of Metal. It was a black pair of shorts and a white shirt that was sopping wet with water. She had also found some bandages and wrapped it around her chest, stopping it from bouncing around.
With the clothes on, she stepped into the hot steam that was infused with the essence of Kongli. Yuki could feel that her body was a bit stiffer than usual and proceeded to move her body around, trying to get rid of the kinks and stuff in her body. She felt her body swelling and it was almost like she gained 50 pounds of weight, but could easily lift a thousand pounds.
