Chapter 14 - Ron

At the end of October, Legalese City was quite cold as the heavens blessed it with snow and a few of the sun's rays that slightly caressed the earth. The city wasn't as bustling as it would be usually as the people sought sanctuary in their houses. The busy kind occasionally crossed the streets covered in long and warm clothes.

Along a street, a young woman left a salon, crossed the road, and she had trimmed her black hair to her neckline. Clad in a long khaki coat, a pair of blue pants and a black cap as she slowly halted in front of a hotel labelled 'Night Dreamer. She swiftly entered through the door and stopped at the reception. The receptionist, a young female with thin-rimmed glasses dresses in a black suit smiled at her.

"How may I help you, miss?" she politely asked, looking at her.

"I'm looking for Mr Ron Murin," replied the female.

"Oh! wait a second. I'll inform him," said the receptionist in a professional tone. Picking up the landline that rested on the counter, she dialled a number. She spoke a few words on the call before hanging up.

Glancing at the female before, the receptionist spoke, "You may go in."

The female thanked the receptionist and advanced towards the grand lift corridor. Entering the lift, she pressed a silver button with the number 4 carved on it. A few minutes later, the lift beeped indicating she reached her final destination.

She exited the lift and strode towards a room. Eventually, she halted in front of a door labelled '230'. She knocked on the door gently, her expression neutral. However, there wasn't any response from the other side. She knocked once again and received a click sound caused by the twisted golden door knob.

She felt her heart thump harder while her face paled. The painful feeling she had gotten the past few days seemed to have returned the moment she stepped into the hotel. The door opened and a hunk stood before her dressed in a white robe that partially revealed his stud chest.

Seeing the woman before him, he pulled her in, closed the door and pinned her on the door. He swiftly pressed his lips on hers, kissing her passionately. The woman struggled but he pinned her both arms above her head. He bit her lower lip lightly however, it seemed his gentle bite was hard as he felt a salty liquid of blood taste on his tongue.

He didn't stop there and continued to ravage her lips. The female finally stopped struggling and was out of breath. Accompanied by the dull pain in her heart, tears flowed down her face. The man stopped what he was doing and stared at the female dumbfounded.

"I'm sorry Vida, please don't cry," he coaxed while pulling her in for an embrace. "I'm sorry for my immaturity, I'm sorry I caused you pain," he lamented painfully.

Vida pushed the man and glared at him indifferently, "Say what you want to. I still have things to do, Mr Ron Murin."

Feeling her indifference, he couldn't help but feel hurt. He loved her but he didn't dare to admit it. He just couldn't find the courage that he had fallen for her. From the first time he slept with her, he couldn't have enough of her. He had grown obsessive towards her.

Their last fight and the days she hadn't visited her, treated him badly. He hadn't gone out for days. A month had already passed. He wanted to apologize but he was still arrogant and prideful so he didn't look for her even though he knew he would find her.

Vida was a bar hostess, however, one time she was forced to have a one-night stand with Ron Murin. He just happened to be drunk and not only that but also drugged. She remembered him to have taken around five shots of a strong alcoholic drink. The club being dark and her not knowing his address, she booked a room in her name and took him there.

In his fantasies, he forced himself on her and Vida being at a disadvantage, she could do nothing but give in though not being part of her occupation. The next day as Ron woke, he didn't find the lady near him however, he couldn't forget her care. She left without any word which greatly bothered Ron. He sent out someone to investigate the person and he came to know of Vida.

She was the epitome of beauty, a bar hostess and one that cared. However, when the two met, Vida flashed him a professional smile and welcomed him into the club. Her smile, whether fake or genuine, he fell in love with it. The two were then connected by contract where she was to serve him privately and then paid handsomely.

Meanwhile, Ron was the firstborn of the Murin family. Ever the cold brother and rarely visits home, however, quite the hard worker in the family. He preferred his own private space rather than staying at the extended family mansion of the Murins.

Ron stared at Vida's cold attitude and felt like cold water splashed on him. This was his second relationship and he realised that he loved Vida more than the first girl he loved yet abandoned him.

"Vida, please don't do this to me. Listen to me, ok?" Ron then gathered Vida into his embrace once again. He knew he couldn't let go and couldn't leave without her.

"What's there to say, Mr Ron? There's nothing you can say that will convince me to stay," she sneered.

"Fine, Vida whatever you say but for today You're mine," he glanced into her eyes fiercely and then slowly leaned towards her nape. He licked it and then roughly sunk his fangs into her flesh.

Vida winced in pain but she tightly closed her eyes, giving in to her fate. Ron hadn't tasted blood and he had already become weak. What made it worse was that he had grown accustomed to Vida's blood. Other than that, he couldn't drink anyone's blood. Vida felt his sucking affect her and couldn't help but moan a little. A faint blush appeared on her face.

While Ron knew he affected her, he cared less about her gasps and moans. All he had in mind was to quench the desires he had controlled for such a long time.

Seeing her still struggling, Ron hugged her waist and let out a seductive whisper that sent shivers down her entire body, " Vida, why are you still resisting when you also want me?"
