Chapter 17 - The blondie one

Meanwhile, Seyan woke up earlier compared to the other students, did some exercises and jogged around her room, a routine that she'd inherited from her former brother. As expected, Seyan's body was a weak one however, her figure was still as curvy as an hourglass with proper proportions. She was quite the fairy though a fierce one.

By the time Seyan finished warming up, the skies had already brightened with the faint sun rays caressing her window. Her little sister, Reyo snored sweetly on the other bed. Seyan freshened up and neatly prepared Reyo's clothes just like the pampering sister she had vowed to be. She woke Reyo who quickly freshened up though she felt bad that she had to wake her up. But it was for the best though.

At 07:30 am, the two girls were smartly dressed in black knee-length skirts and white bottoms with their hair neatly tied up in ponytails, making them look like twins.

Nonetheless, the attitude was different. The two had portable black backpacks slung on their shoulders while walking side by side towards the classroom commons.

Just then a brown-haired girl approached Seyan with a bright smirk plastered on her face. An hour had remained before classes could start as their classes began at exactly 9 am.

"Hey, look who's here! isn't this the unfavored princess of the Murins, Seyan Murin?" she enunciated loudly, alerting the rest.

Many of the students had heard about how Seyan was unfavored and how she embarrassedly confessed to Prince Zenith Asmodeus.

Most have never seen her face apart from a thus many thought she was ugly. However, facing such an ethereal beauty, one could say the rumours were false. As murmurs of doubt and incredulity erupted, the girl fueled, "Do you know, I was just dropped to school by Zenith's father himself?"

The voice belonged to Yona Leo who had a crush on Zenith since childhood. Since her family and Zenith's family were friends, they had decided to arrange for their engagement.

Having said that, the crowd gasped, "Oh! wow! how lucky to be dropped by the elder master of the Deus himself."

A girl chirruped in, "Yes, she's truly lucky. But I also heard that Yona will be engaged to Zenith."

All along Seyan watched as the rumour circulated while the rest fueled. It was quite easy to sway the fire with air. Seyan smirked inwardly, 'Since she brought it on herself I'll show her how to be the drama queen.'

Reyo had already gotten scared upon seeing Yona's arrival. She had tightened the grip on Seyan's shoulder in concern. She knew it was already troublesome to argue with someone who came from a well-known family. The Leos being the second-ranked wealthiest family in Legalese, they weren't to be trifled with otherwise the consequences would be severe.

Feeling her fear and seeing the concern in Reyo's eyes, Seyan gently patted her arm and then advanced towards Yona, with a bright smile on her face, " Heeey! The Blondie one, how are you doing?"

The crowd burst into laughter as they heard what Seyan had addressed Yona. Her face turned grim and ugly as though she'd swallowed a bitter pill. It was her turn to feel speechless. Never had she imagined that Seyan would backfire on her. The old Seyan would keep her mouth shut and let the rest walk on her.

"You-" she stuttered, squeezing the hem of her skirt in embarrassment.

Seyan finally halted an inch closer to her and then said loudly, "I don't care about you or Zenith anymore. Your marriage and engagement are not my concern, however.." She paused then whispered in her ear, " We have a debt to settle. I know your secret, you know what I mean, don't you? Remember this, I'll make you pay heavily."

With that said, she looked at her fearful expression and smiled widely like a fan girl, feeling satisfied with her work. Yona had felt dangerous energy around Seyan while she whispered in her ear. She spoke dangerously with an angel's smile that urged one to follow.

What happened to Seyan? she stood glued to the spot, dumbfounded. The rest didn't hear what Seyan had said to her but they could see her trembling expression. Just then the electric bell rang, signalling the time for classes.

Seyan glanced at the Chanel leather strapped watch on her slender wrist that she had recently bought and then cheered, " Oh! it's class time. We shall meet next time, bye-bye."

Seyan pulled Reyo with her and the two quickly headed towards the main building for their lessons. The rest of the students also silently dispersed towards their respective classrooms but both held thoughts of suspicion while they dispersed.

Unknown to them, two pairs of eyes gazed at the scene below from a classroom window a floor above the ground. Their expressions smiled as they stared at Seyan's confident backside.

One of them blurted, "Nik, this girl is so interesting. I want her too."

The Nik guy cast a cold gaze at the man standing beside him and threatened, "Laine!"

Laine felt the temperature around him drop so he immediately raised his hands in surrender. How could he compete with his friend's cold gaze?

Entering the classroom, Seyan headed for her usual seat with Reyo sitting beside her. The classes went smoothly as most of the things the teacher taught, she already knew them.

At the same time, a silhouette hiding along the classroom corridor sneaked towards the classroom window where Seyan was studying. His red eyes sparkled darkly the moment his eyes landed on Seyan sitting at the window.

In his hand, he held a mobile phone which vibrated. He clicked the answer button and placed it on his left ear, his eyes never left Seyan.

"Hello, yes, I can see her. Ok," he said and then the beeping sound came after the other party hung up.

"So you're the little thing causing trouble? how interesting indeed but it's too bad I'll have to silence you forever. Since only the dead keep secrets," he eerily smiled.
