[Club Kembice Hotel]
The dyed brown-haired Ron hazily flickered his eyes open. Glancing at the empty spot before him, he frowned. He sat upright on the king-sized bed and stared through the floor-to-ceiling window, he could see the bustling city under the morning sun and heard the honking sound of the cars. All these were enough to remind him that a new dawn had arrived.
However, he didn't feel like going anywhere. His eyes once again fell on the spot beside him, he felt her natural scent waft into his nose and it drove him crazy. He didn't notice how he had grown so used to her presence. The moments that he needed her most, she wasn't there. He hadn't left the hotel ever since he had a nightstand with her.
Every corner reeked of her and he couldn't get enough of her. The spot beside him had turned cold meaning she had left earlier than usual. He reckoned the events from the previous night, he had messed up again. How he wished he could rewind the previous day and tell her what he had in his heart. Nonetheless, he ended up acting as the master and his slave.
Ron held his head in his hands but her face kept on popping into his mind. 'Vida, why did you have to do this to me?'
Ron obtained his phone and scrolled through his phone book then landed on the contact written 'My Babe' and dialled it. However, it was all in vain as it seemed to be unavailable.
He then dialled another contact which passed through, "Find out Vida Angel's whereabouts. You've got 3 hours."
With that said, he hunged up the phone and tossed it aside with complicated emotions. He didn't know what to feel anymore. He had tried his best but he failed to keep her by his side. Most of the girls who approached him did so for his wealth but she was different from them.
Ron tossed the large blanket covering him and headed towards the bathroom. He opened the tap letting the cold water cascade down his fine-built torso. After finishing, he wrapped a white towel around his lower body and exited the room. Just then he heard his phone vibrate. Turning it on, he saw a message. He clicked the message icon only to land on the location sent to him.
Ron quickly dressed up in a black suit, grabbed his car keys and left the hotel. He rushed towards the lift, hastily opened the doors and disappeared into the lift. The lift took him to the basement where he had his car parked. He swiftly entered his car and sped off towards the city.
Turning on his Bluetooth device, he dialled a number. A few seconds later a male voice responded, "Young Master!"
Ron: '' Keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't board the plane before I arrive. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes, young master!" firmly replied the man.
[Arcando's Light]
The long boring lesson had finally ended as the bell rang irritatingly. The moment the teacher left, the endless murmurs of the students erupted once again. Seyan tiredly stretched her arms, gazing at the attentive Reyo. She had her brows frowned as she tried to understand what she had scribbled down. Despite her low educational background, Reyo had nice slanting handwriting. From the memories of the past Seyan, she recalled teaching her a few things like writing and reading.
Seyan ruffled Reyo's ponytail and nudged her, jolting her from her confused world, "Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. I'll tutor you for free. It's going to be just fine."
"You'll do that for me?" Reyo asked feebly. She wasn't used to people taking care of her.
Seyan saw her doe-like large eyes and slightly pinched her cheeks, "Of course, I will. Now let's go have a nice sumptuous breakfast. Aah! I'm starving."
With that said, Seyan pulled Reyo with her and the two headed to the cafeteria. Reaching the place, it was quite populated. Seyan told Reyo to sit at a table facing a certain window while she queued in the long line.
While Reyo wandered her eyes around, she suddenly felt the urge to visit the bathroom. She found the bathroom with the help of some useful directions. The bathroom area was a bit secluded from the rest of the rooms, it kinda brought a creepy feeling down her spine. She suddenly got a feeling of being followed. She darted her eyes from side to side and turned her back to see if someone was there but nothing seemed to be in place.
She finally finished her business and then exited the room. Just as she had taken a step towards the commons, she felt a cloth cover her mouth and nose. Subconsciously she inhaled the cloth, dizziness washed over her and she fell unconscious. Clad in a black satanic robe, a tall silhouette dragged her body, slowly disappearing along a dark corner to which none knew where it led to.
Meanwhile, Seyan had taken her order and headed to the table where Reyo had sat. Reaching there, she found the spot empty. She placed the food on the table and scanned the room for her. However, she couldn't see even a string of her hair. It wasn't usual for Reyo to roam out on her own. Besides, she hadn't gotten used to the academy.
Trapped along crossroads with nowhere to begin, she panicked inwardly. Seyan recalled her brother's teachings, "No matter how dangerous the situation is, the first thing to do is to breathe, breath in and out. Don't panic 'cause you won't be able to think straight."
Seyan's chest heaved in and out as she inhaled the cool air from the installed ACs. A few minutes later, Seyan counted the potential places where Reyo could have gone. One must be the bathroom and two the hostel block. Somehow she didn't know why but her legs carried her in the direction of the bathroom.
Reaching there, she halted in her footsteps and scanned the eerily dark corridor. She observed the room like a detective in search of clues. The first thing that her eyes landed on was a small handkerchief resting on the ground. She walked towards it slowly and realised it belonged to Reyo.
Crouching on the ground, she picked it up and on unfolding it, she saw a few words scribbled on it read, "Meet me in the old gymnasium. I'll be waiting for you."
