During his lunch break, Wilhelm was sitting with his friends Jonas, Göran, and Sebastian, taking a break after playing soccer in the snow. He confided in them, saying that he wanted summer to come quickly because he wanted to jump in the lake with his friends. He didn't know how long this chill would last.
Jonas nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I miss swimming in the lake too," he said. "But at least we can still play soccer in the snow."
Göran chimed in, "And we can go skiing and snowboarding too. That's always fun."
Sebastian nodded, "And we can have snowball fights and build snowmen. There's still plenty to do in the winter."
Just then, Lena and Emma joined them. The girls knew exactly what the boys were talking about.
"What are you guys talking about?" Lena asked, sitting down next to Wilhelm.
"We were just saying how we miss swimming in the lake," Wilhelm replied, smiling at her.
Lena nodded, "Yeah, I miss that too. But if we get bored, we can always go ice skating on the lake. Just be careful of areas with thin sheets of ice that can be dangerous."
Emma agreed, "That's a good idea. And we can have hot chocolate afterwards to warm up."
The group smiled at each other, feeling grateful for their friendship and the fun activities they could do together, no matter the season.
