As Li Meiling sprinted through the theme park, her heart pounded with fear as the pack of wolves pursued her relentlessly. With seven of the vicious creatures hot on her heels, she desperately scanned her surroundings for any means of escape. Then, her gaze landed on the towering moving Ferris Wheel.
Summoning all her strength, Li Meiling sprinted towards the Ferris Wheel, her breath coming in ragged gasps as adrenaline surged through her veins. As she reached the base of the towering ride, she leaped with all her might, grasping onto one of the slowly moving carts. Despite the park's power outage, the Ferris Wheel operated on a backup generator, allowing her to ascend to safety.
Several wolves followed her lead, leaping onto adjacent carts as they closed in on their prey. Li Meiling knew she had only a brief respite before the next cycle brought her back to the ground, where more wolves awaited. Determined to buy herself more time, she steadied herself on the cart, her eyes fixed on the control room at the base of the Ferris Wheel.
With a steady hand, she conjured a shard of ice and launched it towards the control switch, but her aim fell short, shattering the glass but failing to hit the target. Undeterred, she took a deep breath, steadying her nerves as she focused her concentration once more. This time, as she released the icy projectile, it found its mark with precision, striking the control switch with a resounding crack.
The sound of metal creaking filled the air as the Ferris Wheel slowly ground to a halt, its movement ceasing abruptly. The wolves, momentarily confused by the unexpected turn of events, hesitated before beginning their slow ascent up the stationary structure.
"Ekk," Li Meiling muttered under her breath, her heart sinking as she realized she had inadvertently trapped herself in a precarious situation. With the Ferris Wheel halted and the wolves closing in, she found herself trapped between two perilous outcomes, each one threatening her safety.
She mustered her strength again. Concentrating, she touched the (What is the things holding the ferris wheels, the steel things, the one which would be used by the wolves to climb) and froze the entire thing which made the wolves which were climbing fall to the ground. It wouldn't be forever as the wolves started to chip the ice with their claws but it had bought her so much time.
Not knowing what to do or how long it would take for help to arrive, she could only call for help.
"Help! Someone please help me"
Even though there was not many chance that a person would be still here, she didn't know what to do otherwise. Seeing that more wolves were gathering because of the call, she stopped and just lied in the cart as she tried to recover her strength which had been drained because of the usage of her element. She had no mana left in her reserves.

Who was she? She was half younger sister of Li Weifeng. Their ages were apart by a few days but he was still older than her.
How did she get herself in this situation where she was getting chased by these wolves?
It would go back to before the rift started to open.
Before the rift had opened, Li Meiling along with her two friends had arrived at the theme park which had just opened. It was very popular among the young people so they wanted to check it out. After they had rode a few rides, while her friends were eating cotton candy while she was in the bathroom. As she washed her hands, she came out but what she saw was people panicking and moving away while her two friends moved up to her and said.
"Meiling, we need to move"
"There is a rift opening"
As they ran, they almost reached the translucent bubble which appeared before it hardened. But she heard a cry from nearby and looked back to see a child who had fallen, crying her eyes out. Seeing that there was no one nearby who was helping her.
"You guys go ahead"
"Meiling, where are you going?"
"Don't worry about me"
She said as she left the two who worried for their friend but started running towards the bubble. Meiling helped the child up as she carried her.
"Little girl, do you know where your parents are"
The child shaked her head sniffing as she still had tears in her eyes. Seeing that there was not much time left, Meiling held the child and ran towards the bubble border. She could see her two friends waiting for her as the bubble started to harden from the top as it went down very quickly.
As she closed in, she tried to move even faster but as she saw the speed of which the bubble hardened, she knew she wouldn't be able to make it. Knowing that, she looked at the child in her hand and then using all her strength and a bit of mana, she threw the child towards her friends and as the child reached the two girls who were able to catch her, the bubble hardened.
Li Meiling walked closer to the bubble and knocked on the now hardened barrier knowing she wouldn't be able to break it. Her two friends banged on the barrier repeatedly yelling it seems as she saw their mouths moving but the sound didn't reach her and it seemed they couldn't see her as well.
Then another sound was heard as the space crack which appeared before to emit the purplish smoke which made the barrier, enlarged. Since the crack appeared in the theme park, it was quite near to her and she was caught in a tight spot as monster wolves started to appear from it.
The wolves seeing her even though she was a bit far, moved towards her. She was stunned for moments before she started to run. She tried to use her ice element as she conjured some ice shards and shot at the wolves but they were able to avoid it.
