"Every being in this world has Unie, No matter how low." Marai Butcher taught.
All the students were intensely listening to the lecture. Not all of them were from rich families after all.
"Now moving on to the ranks of strength. As you all might know, the Hero rank is the highest rank of power.
You all are currently in the 'Desciple' rank, which is the lowest rank."
"Listen carefully, The rank after Rank 1-Desciple is Rank 2-Average after that comes Rank 3-Joe, then comes, Rank 4-Strongman."
"Moving up these four ranks is easy because you need to fulfill only one condition which is to have enough unie reserves."
"You should have realized that the unie reserve in your heart is not full naturally."
All the students nodded.
"There are a few ways to fill them, By eating rare herbs and fruits and then absorbing its Unie, by eating monster meat, or absorbing Unie from Unie crystal but it is not recommended as the Unie is tainted.
And finally, the best method is to find more ways to use your ability and continually practice your ability."
"Your cube and soul will automatically absorb Unie from surroundings when you do so." The lecture from Miss Butcher continued for the next hour. She went on to tell the method to ascend the first two ranks and the benefits you gain from ascension.
Wand then went towards the place of Aphos' class. The "classroom" had a door and a wall but behind it was normal ground and few trees. The area was big.
Wand could see a 6-foot and 2 inches tall and muscular man standing near a tree.
The man had pale skin paired with his slightly purple eyes and dark blond hair. Wand guessed that this mas was teacher Aphos.
"Good afternoon! Teacher Aphos."
"Don't "good afternoon" me, kiddo!" The man menacingly replied.
Wand was shocked as he never expected a teacher to be this unfriendly.
"Well then, you have choosen my class. I can't just refuse to teach you now, can I? I will take a test!"
"Test?"
"Yes! A test. And the content will be…. A battle between you and me. If I find the fight satisfactory, I will teach you. Use everything in your arsenal."
Wand's shock couldn't last for long as the man dashed towards him with insane speed.
Wand's daily exercise was showing its benefit as he managed to dodge punches and kicks for the next two minutes. Wand guessed that Aphos was going easy on him. He was sure if a teacher wanted to hunt him, he would be dead by now.
Wand started getting sluggish after 2 minutes. I was natural as he was attacked more than 200 times in just two minutes.
Suddenly— Bam! An attack hit wand in his torso!
Wand was thrown back 10 meters by that attack.
Aphos stopped attacking and walked slowly. "Want to give up? Give up now kiddo! Or else…I'll kill you!"
Aphos said menacingly as a crazy aura engulfed him.
"N-No, I won't give up! I wanna become strong." Wand said weakly as a drop of blood flowed from the corner of his mouth.
Wand was Scared.
He knew Aphos was dead serious just by looking at the man's aura
"Ho-ho, nice ambition you got there, but it won't save you from death," Aphos replied as he dashed towards Wand.
Wand stood up.
Wand didn't want to die. He wanted to live! To become stronger and travel the world!
At that moment, as Aphos's fist neared Wand's face something happened.
Wand disappeared.
Aphos's punch touched empty air as he became shocked. Wand had appeared behind him.
BAM!
A sound reverberated as Wand's fist touched Aphos's cheek. Although, it didn't even leave a bruise.
Wand's fist had a black aura but it wasn't misty like the portal.
This was the color of Wand's Unie!
"Ho-ho, interesting… Couldn't you only use the portal? Good good, Even though I held back, you still managed to hit me." Aphos said.
"Then, Let's fight, Wand!"
"Yeah! I will beat the shit out of you, Aphos!" Wand was grinning like a maniac.
Wand previously hadn't used unie but after using unie for the fight, he was in a whole other realm.
The two continued exchanging blows for 30 minutes until Wand collapsed on the ground.
Before going unconscious from exhaustion, he heard a voice say," You pass!"
"Oi! Kiddo, wake up! You have slept for 15 minutes!" A masculine voice said.
Wand opened his eyes to see Aphos.
"Aphos?! I passed right?"
"Not even teacher huh…" Aphos said silently.
"Well yes! You passed. Seeing your new spell, I also registered you for the combat class. Well, you still won't take normal combat class but only my class. Training with me will be more than enough for you."
"Also your new ability will be really useful in combat. Thankfully, you were a scaredy cat and discovered that you could perform both portal and instant teleportation."
Wand just smiled.
"Well, I thought you were really gonna kill me!"
"I was," Aphos replied.
"But don't worry, I will not do that again. Hhahahaha." Aphos patted Wand's back.
"You also should check your unie reserves. They should have increased. You discovered a new spell after all!"
Wand nodded and checked his reserves.
Previously, his unie reserves were permanently 9% filled but now the permanent reserves have increased to 13%!
It was a whopping 4% increase!
Wand was excited after all it was really hard to even increase the reserves by 1% not to mention 4%. If he increases it to 50%, he will enter the Average rank!
"Now then, Tell me your daily schedule and the exercises you do daily!" Aphos said.
Wand told him his daily schedule. He exercised daily for one hour and took classes.
He only had the utility, and support classes three times a week, whereas the Universal Energy classes were two times a week.
Altogether, four days of his week were free of classes.
"Four days huh…. Alright! I will teach you the method to properly train your body with Unie. It would be better if you have someone with [rejnuviate] ability to heal you. You can even control the energy they send to your body and heal that way along with using my method. You are the Unie control genius, you can do it!"
After 15 minutes, Wand learned the method.
"Thank you, Aphos!"
"Come back this time every day! We will be fighting every day from now on!"
Wand nodded.
Wand got curious as he asked," Aphos! What is your ability? It must be super cool right?!"
Hearing the question, Aphos looked proud."I… don't have an ability. You don't need to worry about my ability hurting you."
Wand made an apologetic face.
"Your class has ended! You can go back now. Also, you now have unlimited access to the gym. Be sure to use it in your free time."
Wand nodded and walked away.
