The show ended fine, and luckily, there was no distraction from the weird lady. Ajax enjoyed what he watched, the performance of the performers.
It was only them in the room with a giant TV, a VVIP concert for him indeed. Ajax rarely stayed in a room filled with other people.
"Hey, today was fun." Ajax said to her. She flashed a bright smile at him. Then he said, "let's never meet again."
"What?" she exclaimed.
"Don't yell, miss weirdo. I just...you've been too weird and I don't want to see you again. For my mental health." Ajax said.
For some reason, he was nice and friendly to her.
Amber wondered why this man hated her!
"I'm sorry I make you uncomfortable, but you shouldn't be so harsh to me." She said.
"I'm not." Ajax replied to her as honestly as he could. He was usually as kind as he could be.
Amber sighed. "I'm sorry. Everything has been choking lately, and you got this version of me. You're right. I'm weird, and we don't even have to see each other again. No. We won't see again, ever." she said.
"Your sister is nice and all, but I'm not really interested in this work of yours. I'm a married woman and I'm happy with my marriage." Amber concluded.
Ajax was silent, but his brows furrowed. Happy? With a cheating husband? Ha!
Something felt strange to him. He wanted the weird woman, what had she called herself again? Anna? Emily?
Whatever her name was, he wanted her to ...touch him! It felt nice seeing someone get so close to him, not seeing him as the freak that he was.
But now, she would disappear from his life forever. And he won't be able to do anything about it.
"Thank you so much for today. And thank Ava for me too. I had a lovely birthday! I'll leave now, and we won't see each other again." Amber said, giving an awkward bow, then she walked away.
Few minutes later, David came around, Ajax best friend and right hand man.
"Hey men, what's up?" David said. He was tall and slender and always wore the latest model of fashioned wears.
"David, I think I'm healed." Ajax said. With David, Ajax could always be himself.
David frowned. "Who said you were sick before Ajax, huh?"
Ajax rolled his eyes. "I am sick, David. No need to be modest."
David sighed. "Okay then. Why do you say so?"
"Hey, come closer David." Ajax said, remembering how that lady had touched him so confidently.
David's eyes bulged open. "Eww bruh! I mean, it's not like I don't respect you and all, but I like women! I love women--"
"Shut up, David! And touch me! Not in that disgusting manner you might be thinking, but physically. Just a normal direct touch. Nothing sensual." Ajax said.
David was hesitant at first, but he moved closer to Ajax.
Few steps further from him...now inches further...and Ajax felt like he would die from anxiety. He felt like he was slowly melting away, and once David's hand touched him, it would be the end of his life.
Horrible goosebumps filled his skin and attacked him. His eyes grew painful and red, blurring his vision.
Quickly, he pulled back. "Get lost, don't touch me!"
David sighed again. "You know, sometimes I never understand you, Ajax. Whatever."
It was then Ajax realized that he was far from healed!
He muttered under his breath, though loud enough for David to hear him.
"She must be a robot. Or a ghost..."
"A what? Who?" David asked out of curiosity. "Who, Ajax? What are you talking about?!"

Meanwhile at home, drama was steering. Hudson had indeed been waiting for her.
Amber made her way home in careful steps and elated mood. She enjoyed the show and enjoyed her birthday in general!
Until she opened the door and met the gazes of her so-called family.
Hudson rushed over to meet her. "How dare you, Amber! Why didn't you come home as instructed!"
Amber frowned at the man she called her husband. Something in her gave her confidence like no other.
"And you, how dare you cheat on me! You promised to take care of me, and even on my birthday, you became a disappointment." She said to him.
Hudson swallowed. He never believed his wife could speak to him like that!
But his mother however, she wasn't happy. She advanced forward and made and attempt to slap Amber as she normally did, but Amber held her hand tight, and pushed her away!
With a loud thud, Sarah crashed to the floor hitting her butt hard.
"How dare you hit my mother!" Hudson demanded!
"I didn't hit her. She brought that demise to herself." Amber said to him.
Hudson made an attempt to slap her too but she was fast. She gripped his hand tight, burying her claw nails into his skin and drawing blood.
Hudson cried out in pain, and she then pushed his hand away too.
"Are you insane, Hudson? You would dare hit me?" Amber demanded in a cold voice. She was tired of her so called family!
Hudson shared with shock, then gulped hard, blinking so fast. He was too surprised to see his wife angry like this.
"Okay...let's just all calm down. Manage your anger tonight, tomorrow, we'll deal with this." He said.
Sarah was still crying on the floor pretending to had been hurt.
"How can you say that! I'm hurt!"
"Mother, please get up before she gets to you again." Hudson said to her.
Amber began to walk towards Sarah. This made her mother in law to almost summersault and roll away, yelling: "get away from me! Get away from me!"
"You've ruined your son's life. You won't ruin mine too." Amber said to Sarah. "You've ruined your children's life!"
Hudson tried to get her attention with a loud yell. It worked, but now he was partially afraid Amber's cold stare was focused on him now.
"My father owns this house, and so, for now till further notice, I don't want you anywhere near that room." said Amber.
"Come closer, and I can't promise you what I would do to you." She threatened, then carried her short legs and made her way to her room, leaving Hudson and Sarah in complete shock.
The next day came in a breeze. Hudson was getting ready for work while his mother was in the kitchen making snacks for breakfast, even though her daughter-in-law always did all the cooking.
"Mother, I've told you that Amber will cook for me, okay?" Hudson said.
"That mad woman? Don't you remember what happened last night? She might poison you if you let her cook for you!" Sarah said, mixing the batter for pancakes.
"You can't even cook, you're too old mother." Hudson confessed.
"How dare you say that about me, son! Oh I wish Maya was around so I can rub minds with her!" Cried Sarah.
"Why hasn't she returned home since last night though?" Hudson asked.
"She's busy with work. That's what she told me." Sarah replied.
"Anyway, where is Amber? I hope she's still not angry with me since last night." Hudson said.
Amber was already downstairs, behind them.
"I'm getting ready for work as well. I'm done actually. You guys should enjoy your breakfast." she replied, then carried her bag very well.
The looks on their faces was too shocking, she almost smiled.
Hudson gathered his confidence. "Where are you going to, young woman?"
