Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 – The Cursed Continued

Jake assured her that he was up to the task and was eager to start working for the company. His main goal, however, was to get close to Alisha and watch her transformation during the full moon.

As he began his work as secretary, he quickly learned that Jenna was right about her being a workaholic. She was always on the go, answering calls, attending meetings, and reviewing documents. Jake found it hard to keep up with her pace, but he pushed himself to do better.

As Jake was going through his tasks as Alisha's secretary, he noticed that she was becoming increasingly erratic in her behavior. She would snap at employees, make unreasonable demands, and even throw things at the wall. Jake knew that these were all signs of her transformation and he couldn't help but feel excited to witness it firsthand.

Despite the excitement, Jake knew that he needed to be careful. He didn't want anyone to know about his true intentions or that he was actually a werewolf himself. He made sure to keep up with his work, even though he was distracted by the thought of Alisha's transformation.

Jenna, warned him to always be efficient with his work, as she was known for being very strict with her employees.

Jake brushed off Jenna's warning, as he was confident that he could handle the situation. He knew that Alisha was going to transform soon and he wanted to be there to witness it all.

It was a quiet evening in Alisha's mansion. She was sitting on her couch, reading a book and sipping a glass of wine. Suddenly, she looked out the window and saw the red moon rising. A chill went down her spine as she remembered what Joel had said before he bit her. She wondered what he meant by "cursing" her.

"Fuck the old man's cursed." She rolled her eyes.

As she sat there, she felt a sharp pain all over her body. She clutched her chest and groaned in agony. Her skin began to itch and she could feel her hair growing thicker. She knew something was wrong.

Suddenly, she felt a strange sensation in her mouth. Her teeth began to elongate and become sharper. She tried to scream, but her voice became guttural and inhuman. She felt her bones shifting and cracking as her body contorted and transformed.

"W-What the hell happened to me? I-Is this the cursed Joel referring too? How could he do it? Fucking shit!" she yelled.

Alisha was now a werewolf. She looked at herself in the mirror and screamed in terror. She was covered in fur, had sharp fangs and glowing eyes. She felt a primal urge to hunt and kill.

She ran around the house in a frenzied panic, knocking over furniture and shattering glass. But thankfully, no one heard her screams or saw her transformation. She was alone in her monstrous form.

After a few minutes, Alisha's transformation began to subside. She was left panting and sweating, her heart pounding in her chest. She realized that she was cursed to become a werewolf because the red moon appeared just like the old man said.

Alisha didn't know what to do. She was scared and confused. She knew that her life would never be the same again. She sat down on the floor, tears streaming down her face, wondering how she would cope with this curse.

"What the hell happened to me? How dare that old man curse me like this! I will never let him go!" she gritted her teeth.

Then the next morning, Alisha lay on the floor, feeling weak and depressed. She saw on TV that the Red Moon was the topic of the day.

She stared blankly at the TV screen as the reporter's words echoed in her head.

"The red moon will last for more than a month, starting at 6 pm until 6 am the next day. According to experts, this phenomenon only happens once every hundred years, and it's believed to have mystical powers."

Alisha felt a pit in her stomach as she listened to the TV reporter's words. She couldn't believe that the red moon would last for over a month. It was like a nightmare that would never end. She dragged herself off the floor and made her way to the couch, turning up the volume on the TV.

"T-The Red Moon will last more than a month?!" She couldn't believe it. How could this be happening to her?

The news continued, with the reporter talking about the effects of the Red Moon on wildlife and the environment. Alisha couldn't help but wonder what it would do to her as a werewolf. Would she be stuck in her wolf form for a month? Would she be able to control her transformation? All of these questions were running through her mind, causing her anxiety and fear to skyrocket.

She had always been in control of her life, but now she felt like everything was slipping away.

She watched as the reporter spoke about the different legends and myths surrounding the red moon. She heard stories of werewolves, vampires, and other supernatural creatures that were said to be more powerful during this time. Alisha shuddered at the thought of what she had become.

She couldn't bear the idea of anyone finding out about her condition. Her reputation as a successful CEO would be ruined, and she would be ostracized from society. Alisha knew that she had to find a way to control her transformation and keep it a secret.

As she sat on the couch, lost in thought, she heard a knock on the door. Alisha's heart skipped a beat. She wasn't expecting anyone, and she didn't want to be seen in her current state. She cautiously made her way to the door and peered through the peephole. It was Dwayne.

Alisha hesitated for a moment, but then she opened the door. Dwayne looked worried as he stepped inside. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Alisha nodded weakly. "I'm just tired, Dwayne. I didn't get much sleep last night." She said while opening the door.
