Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 – The Black Fur

Dwayne was stunned when he saw how the room was full of mess, "What happened here?"

"N-Nothing, I just became mad because my wound gave me a scar, and I haven't gotten my revenge on Joel yet! He will be imprisoned for what he did to me.

Dwayne looked at her with concern. "You don't look well. Maybe you should take some time off and rest. Can you please stop thinking about what Joel did to you so that you can heal more easily?"

Alisha shook her head. "I can't, Dwayne. There's too much at stake. I have to keep the company running smoothly. I also need to deal with fucking old man!"

Dwayne sighed. "I understand, but your health is important too. Please take care of yourself."

He walked over to Alisha and gently took her hand. "Alisha, you should take a bath and try to relax. I'll have the servant clean your room while you're in there," he said, looking at her with concern in his eyes.

Alisha nodded weakly, feeling grateful for Dwayne's kindness. "Thank you, Dwayne. I'll take your advice," she said softly, slowly getting up from the couch.

Dwayne led her to the bathroom and helped her start the bath, making sure the water was just the right temperature. "Is there anything else I can do for you, Alisha?" he asked, still worried about her.

Alisha shook her head, a sad expression on her face. "No, Dwayne. I just need some time to myself," she replied, before stepping into the tub and sinking down into the warm water.

As Alisha soaked in the tub, Marie, the maid, entered her room to start cleaning. She quickly got to work, tidying up the scattered papers and putting away any clothes that were lying around. But as she was making the bed, she noticed a small black fur on the sheets.

Marie's eyes widened in surprise, as she knew that Alisha was allergic to any kind of animal fur, and pets were strictly prohibited inside the mansion. She immediately picked up the fur and went to find Dwayne.

"Sir Dwayne, I found this on Ma'am Alisha's bed," she said, showing him the black fur. "Do you have any idea where it came from? It is prohibited to have that kind of fur inside madam's room"

Dwayne's eyes flashed with a look of concern, and he quickly took the fur from Marie's hand. "Thank you, Marie. I'll take care of this," he said, before quickly exiting the room.

Once he was alone, Dwayne examined the fur closely, his mind racing with possibilities. He knew that Alisha had been bitten by Joel, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that something strange was happening.

Dwayne's thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the bathroom door. "Alisha, it's me. Can I come in?" he called out.

Alisha sighed, feeling slightly annoyed at the interruption, but she knew that Dwayne wouldn't enter without her permission. "Yes, Dwayne. You can come in," she replied.

Dwayne slowly opened the door and stepped into the bathroom, trying to keep his expression neutral. "Alisha, I hope you don't mind, but Marie found a black fur on your bed," he said, trying to sound as casual as possible.

Alisha's eyes widened in surprise, feeling slightly alarmed. "What do you mean, a black fur? I don't own any pets, Dwayne," she said, her voice slightly trembling.

Dwayne walked over to the tub and showed her the fur. "I know, Alisha. That's why I'm worried. This might be connected to what happened to you last night," he said, his tone serious.

Alisha's heart sank as she realized the implications of what Dwayne was saying. "Do you think I'm turning into a werewolf, Dwayne?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Dwayne's expression softened as he looked at her, feeling a sense of sadness for what Alisha was going through. "I don't know for sure, Alisha. But we need to find out what's going on," he said gently.

Alisha laughed and quickly thought of an excuse for the fur, "Hey, I am joking, It's from a small toy I had when I was a kid," she lied.

Dwayne gave her a skeptical look but decided not to press on the matter. "Okay, well, make sure you throw it away. We don't want any asthma attacks," he said.

Alisha nodded and Dwayne left the room. As soon as he was gone, Alisha let out a deep breath of relief. She knew she couldn't keep this secret forever, but she didn't want to worry Dwayne or anyone else just yet.

After her bath, Alisha felt a bit better and decided to go for a walk around the garden. As she walked, she couldn't help but feel different. Her senses were sharper, and she could hear and smell things she never noticed before. She also felt a strange pull towards the forest nearby.

Alisha shook her head, trying to rid herself of these strange feelings. "I must be going crazy! Fuck you Joel! If I see you again, I will make sure you'll be dead!" she muttered to herself.

As she walked back inside, she noticed Dwayne waiting for her in the living room. "Alisha…" he said seriously.

Alisha's heart sank. Did he find out about her transformation?

"I know you're going through a tough time, but I think it's best if you take a break from work for a while," Dwayne said.

Alisha was surprised but relieved that he didn't know about her werewolf form. "Thank you, Dwayne. I really appreciate it," she said sincerely.

Dwayne nodded and gave her a small smile. "Take all the time you need. We'll handle things here," he said before leaving the room.

Alisha couldn't believe her luck. Maybe she could use this time off to figure out how to control her werewolf form or find a cure. But for now, she needed to keep her secret safe and find a way to deal with her transformation.
