As the sun started to set, Eliana made preparations for her and Lillian's time alone. Some of the workers who came to work at the orphanage had started returning home as well. The moment the clock struck five, Eliana went looking for Lillian.
After just a few minutes, Eliana found Lillian talking to a group of workers. "Li," Eliana called as she walked over. She was greeted by the workers, and she replied and returned her focus to Lillian after they had left.⁵
"So sorry, Elia. It slipped my mind. I will go and change right away," Lillian said and headed inside without even waiting for Elia to respond. "Please wait for just a little moment," and just like that, she was gone. Eliana smiled and followed her inside.
Not long after that, they were both out and ready to go. Taking the car and Eliana as the driver, they arrived at an amusement park. "Here we are," Eliana said after stepping on the brakes and parking the car. "What do you think?"
