"There's someone at the back," someone shouted to the others, and Lillian's heart nearly sank to her stomach at the untimely discovery. She looked at Elia, who still had silver hair and eyes.
"This is bad," she whispered, but unlike her, Elia remained silent with her eyes closed, seemingly meditating.
The footsteps of the worried people drew closer as well as their images, and soon, the receptionist, along with the police and a firefighter, came to stand before them but not before Elia opened her eyes.
"We are so dead," Lillian muttered under her breath.
"Miss Kim!" the receptionist called. "I am so glad that you made it out alive," He looked so relieved to see that it confused Lillian.
Lillian looked at Elia, who was still the same, with silver and all that. Or was she mistaken?
