"How long can you keep this form?" Helios asked. She has to take it down eventually, or it will dispel on its own once she doesn't have enough power to keep it going. It would be better if she did it on her own so that there would be no risks.
"I don't know yet," Eliana replied, but she didn't seem to be bothered by that. Her eyes then moved to the sleeping Lillian and looked back at him. "Why did you make her sleep? You don't like her?"
Helios was silent. His gaze locked on the sleeping figure of Lillian before they returned to meet Eliana's questioning stare. "I do not despise her."
"But you question her motive for being with me," Eliana cupped his face. "We have known each other since childhood. If she were to ever hurt me, I would know. Helios, please, do not doubt her again. I can't lose her as my friend. You know she is my only friend."
