'Hey 004, where am I supposed to live if I stay in the forest?'
"I'll scan the region to search for a cave once you enter, but host first you need a weapon to fight."
' Oh yeah. Open weapons store'
The store opened and Serena saw multiple weapons. The cheapest being a rusted low level dagger starting from 5 points. Serena chose a low level bow along with 20 arrows for a total of twenty points. She bought a low level clean dagger for another 10 points leaving only 10 points in her status bar.
Slinging the bow, strapping the arrow filled quiver along her waist and tucking the dagger inside the strap, she gulped as she looked at the forest filled with hundreds of types of mutated plants and animals. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, she would be lying if she said that she was not scared. She was almost trembling, she had died once, that too in a very insignificant manner. She cherished this life more than anything else and to survive here, she had to become stronger.
Taking another deep breath, she strengthened her resolve and opened her eyes. This was the start of a dangerous but very important journey, she stared at the gloomy forest and then stepped forward.

Serena looked at the notification and felt relieved and happy as the moved on the relatively outer region of the forest.
' 004 how much time is left till the end of the day?'
" Host, you have about 7 hours left. You should move swiftly but very carefully as the forest is lethal for you after the dark with your current strength. "
'Hmm.'
Serena hummed and heeded to the system's advice as she fastened her movements while keeping adequate distance from the mutated plants. After searching for about half an hour she spotted a rabbit hole with two adult windblade rabbits guarding their newborn litter.
' Are the newborn kits considered as windblade rabbits in the quest?'
" Yes host, but you should not kill the entire litter. You can keep them in your inventory for now and then later in your space while absorbing their poisonous mutation energy to raise your cultivation level."
' Nice idea.'
Though Serena didn't know what a space was but she still raised her bow and aimed the arrow at the mother rabbit's head.
Whoosh! Before Serena could release the arrow, the rabbits sensed her and turned as they released their sharp windblades. Serena's eyes widened as she released the arrow and then dodged the blades. The arrow managed to hurt the mother rabbit's abdomen but couldn't kill her as she moved the last second. As the rabbits released another wave of windblades at her, Serena shot another arrow aimed at the female rabbit's head. After almost twenty more minutes of constant battle, Serena finally managed to kill the two rabbits using almost half of her arrows. Despite the agility and muscle memory of this body, it was still very weak as she didn't have the original host's abilities. She swiftly placed the dead rabbits and three dead kits along with the newborn kits in her inventory to avoid attracting any other beast.

Hearing the system's notification, Serena smirked as she started to move again in search of a cave for her first night in this world.
