Serena had hardly opened her eyes when she heard 004's excited voice. A relaxed smile formed on her lips as she got up from the ground. Her body felt light and she felt that the pain she had endured yesterday was worth it.
She picked up her bow and quiver and saw that she had 13 arrows, she had used 7 arrows yesterday. After thinking for some time, she bought another 20 arrows for 10 points and a low level sword for 20 points and stored them in her inventory. As she looked at the kits in her inventory, she decided to shift them in her space tonight.

Serena was excited, though the changes in her body were very subtle, she had felt them. And her new business, an adult windblade rabbit was sold for 20 points, it should be similar for other beasts, it was very profitable.
In a happy mood, Serena quickly exited the cave and re-entered the dense forest, she had more than twelve hours today.
The periphery of forest consisted of mainly level 1 and level 2 beasts with some rare level 3 beasts. Having ample time to complete her quest Serena shifted her focus towards the mutated plants, during the day they looked and behaved like the trees on the surface, but because of 004's information, she knew that they were not normal anymore. Flora is the closest to nature, it had been affected the most because of the apocalypse and thus had mutated the most.
Thses mutated trees were more like devilish entities and were carnivorous. They would capture organisms during the night and hollow them from the inside during the day time. Moreover their cores were of high levels, so if she could capture a baby plant or even a seed, she could plant it her space to absorb it's poision and it's core's energy.
With that thought in mind, Serena started looking for a comparatively deserted baby plant or some fallen seed. Not long after she saw a small stem growing out of the ground rapidly.
' Hey system, isn't that a yellow pumpkin stem?'
" Yes host, it's a level 2 yello pumpkin plant. It's at level 2 because it's only a day old, so you better capture it fast before it grows anymore. Don't worry about the poision it will use to attack you, just focus and direct it towards your dantian and you'll be fine."
Serena drooled at the memory of eating her favourite pumpkin pie, though she could no longer eat it, she was confident in selling pumpkin that would grow in in her space once she plants this stem. Who knew, possibly she could buy a mixer or even an oven in the future to drink fresh pumpkin juice and eat pumpkin pies.
With the thought of a luxurious future, Serena aimed an arrow towards the base of the stem of the pumpkin plant. As soon as the arrow hit the base, the vein from the stem shot towards Serena, who caught it in her hand.
