Standing in front of the cave, Serena raised her head to look at the sky, just yesterday this darkening sky had scared her out of her wits, but today it brought her nothing but peace and security. Taking one last look at the scene in front of her, Serena turned and walked into her cave, blending into the poisionous darkness as if she was a part of it.
Placing the orb on the ground, she sat down and took out her hunt. Today she had got four pairs of level 1 adult Windblade rabbits, a level 1 and level 2 Redfire viper and three level 1 Blackfoot pheasants. She had managed to plunder the Vipres' and pheasants' nests and had also got 7 Viper eggs and 12 pheasants eggs. She looked at her 160 points while removing the energy cores from the beasts' head and decided to absorb the poision from the eggs before selling them for extra points.
Handing over the dead animals to the system, she told it to not accept more than a total of 10 animals in the pre-orders, it was really difficult for her to hunt so many animals within a day.
Holding the twelve level 1 and a level 2 energy core in her hand, she felt a little emotional. The level 2 Redfire viper was about twelve meters long and had almost chocked her to death had the system not come to her rescue. She was too weak to fight head to head against a level 2 mutated beast. She closed her eyes for some time to calm her emotions down before gulping down the 12 level 1 cores and then placed the level 2 energy core in her mouth. The level 2 core was a shade better in terms to looks and taste as compared to the level 1 core. Feeling the familiar heat rise in her dantian, Serena sat in the Lotus position to cultivate once again.
After a couple of hours of intense focus, Serena felt the heat residing and opened her eyes. She had hardly opened her eyes when she felt her left breast burn. She hurriedly took off her shirt, only to see a golden dragon tattoo shining on her skin right above her heart. She instinctively wanted to place her cold hand over her skin but hesitated as she felt that the tattoo would scald her hand as well.

Serena was perplexed on hearing the system's words. It had told her yesterday that she could use her space after opening her mandarins, but had never told her anything about awakening the space or this burning pain. All of this had caught her completely off gaurd just now. Feeling helpless, she closed her eyes and decided to meditate again.
