" Hiss!" Serena hissed, she felt her palm sting as she caught the poisionous vein in her hand. Several stingers had popped up at the surface of the part of the vein that she had just caught and embedded themselves into her palm as they released lethal poision. She focused on her blood flow and tried to direct more and more poisionous blood towards her dantian, but within 5 minutes she felt dizzy. She narrowed her eyes while focusing on the struggling vein, it was naturally trying to escape from her grasp, while trying to fight the dizziness. The vein was forcing more and more poision into her blood with every passing second, she couldn't let this happen anymore or she would die.
A thought appeared in her mind and she opened her mouth and bit the vein and sucked it's poisionous sap. She had eaten the poisionous cores yesterday, the poision had been absorbed by her dantian, so it should be the same with the poisionous sap. After a couple of minutes the vein sharted to thrash itself as it became visibly thinner and it's colour changed from dark green to yellow.
Serena smirked and started sucking the poisionous sap even more aggressively, ignoring the stinging sensation in her lips and palm or her numb tongue. She just had to hang on for another couple of minutes, she had almost conquered this battle, then she would be able to take this vein away and plant it in her space tonight.
After 5 minutes, Serena fell down on her knees as she stared at the dry yellow vein in her hand, it looked like a dry dead plant. Was it really dead?
" Host stay conscious, the plant isn't dead. Dig it out of the soil before it regains it's vitality and put it in your inventory, then you can use the poision to increase your cultivation."
On hearing 004's words, Serena forced her eyes open and stumbled towards the vein's root to dig it out. She used her dagger to carefully uproot the creeper and was surprised to see the root turn bright red as soon as she removed it from the ground. She shivered at the sight and quickly placed it inside her inventory.

Serena 's eyes shone on seeing the blue screen in front of her. She simply loved these hidden quests, they were lots of free points earned effortlessly. With her mood now bright again, she sat down cross legged, closed her eyes and focused on the heat from her dantian. She once again channeled the bright light to flow peacefully through her mandarins to every part in her body.
After about an hour, Serena opened her eyes abruptly. So this was cultivation! She felt powerful from within. Though the changes were almost negligible, she felt them. Her vision was sharper and so was her hearing, this meant that even her movement should be effected.
With bright eyes and an optimistic approach, Serena got up from the ground and started her search for her prey. She had around 10 hours left and had to compete the daily mission and get seven extra Windblade rabbits for the pre-order.
