"Fire bolt" Attacked Rose as she hurled a bolt of fire at them.
Upon seeing the high pressure and temperature being emitted from the spell, Isaiah and the tall youth instantly regretted asking her to attack.
"Come on Isaiah, sync your mana with mine and let's cast the water sphere spell together" said the tall youth towards the other as they were both water mages.
Isaiah swiftly moved to the tall youth side. He held his left hand with his right hand and they both harmonize their mana using one of the secret techniques of the Frost family.
"Water sphere" they both shouted as they were both surrounded by four globes of water.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
The four globes of water collapsed without lasting a second against the fire bolt.
How is she so strong?" Asked the shocked tall youth on seeing the four globes being broken down in a single attack of Rose as it was even impossible for an average Light Yellow Core mage to break the globes in a single attack.
Seeing the the fire bolt still continuing moving towards them without any significant diminished in strength, the two youths panicked.
Boom!
They were both struck. The fire bolt exploded on their body and they were blasted away.
The surrounding people were surprised.
"Waoh, not only is she beautiful, she is also strong."
"She is at least Light Yellow Core mage."
"Why can't we detect her rank?"
"She may be wearing a magical artifact."
The people on the street began to gossip about what they saw.
Back to Leo's fight with the youth.
Without warning, Leo dashed toward the youth whose name was "Burton" with great speed. Reaching close to him, he threw a punch aimed at his face and shouted, "Go to hell!"
On seeing that Leo had evaded his spell and was charging toward him, Burton hastily casted another spell.
"Ice shield!"
The surrounding ice elements quickly gathered in front of him. Just as Leo fist was a few meters away from him, a shield formed of ice suddenly appeared, blocking his fist.
Boom!
When Leo fist and the shield met, energy exploded out everywhere.
As Leo fist landed on the shield, he was slightly stunned as the shield only vibrated a little without showing any sign of breaking. Seeing this, Leo vigorously continued punching the shield with both hands until a cracking sound was heard. The shield was on the verge of breaking.
On hearing the cracking sound, Burton hastily produced an Ice blade with his ice magic waiting for an opportunity to attack Leo with it.
Feeling the ice element gathering around Burton, Leo momentarily stopped attacking. For the moment Leo stopped, Burton quickly shot forward and swung the ice blade in his right hand at Leo's neck, applying a lot of raw force behind it.
Leo noticed this and just before the knife could reach him, he took a backstep and ducked the attack, leaving the tip of the Burton's blade drawing a few drops of blood from his neck.
"Did you want to kill me?" Shouted Leo as he felt a slight pain on his neck.
"Damn it-Damn it-Damn it! If I had waited a few seconds, he would have broken through my shield." Said Burton as he was breathing heavily while trying to calm himself down. He was almost out of mana. "That was close. If I had waited a few more seconds, that fucker attack would have reached me."
"But how is he so strong without a mana core?" Thought Burton.
After escaping from Burton sneak attack, Leo touched the wound on his neck and felt the ice on it. He also noticed that he was losing sensation from his two hands he used to punched the ice shield as they were covered with frost as a result of his continuous contact with the ice that made up the shield.
Seeing this, he quickly retreated far away from Burton as he was quickly losing the ability to continue the fight.
"It seems am still not a match for a Dim Orange Rank Core mage." Leo thought inwardly.
Seeing Leo was distracted, Burton casted two additional "ice bullets" spell.

Six ice bullets shot towards Leo.
"Swoosh." Leo quickly moved but he was unable to wholly dodged all the ice bullets. He was struck in the chest by three of them creating three ghastly wounds on him. The blood from the wounds were completely frozen by the ice contained in the ice bullets.
Leo face grimaced in pain before he fell down on his knees, breathless and completely losing the ability to continue the fight. And yet, he was flooded with euphoria on fighting a strong opponent.
"What a pity I couldn't land a single blow on him, thought Leo."
