On seeing this, the Frost family patriarch frowned and turned to look at the man, as he found his face familiar.
The other elders became alert upon seeing the death of one of them. Their instincts were telling them to escape when they felt the dense aura stronger than their patriarchal aura being emitted from the invader's body.
"You dare plan to assassinate a member of my clan? I previously came here today to seek an explanation for the attack on my granddaughter, yet you are seeking to kill her. You must forfeit your life to me today." Said Demigod Skyfire as he swiped out his sword from the sheath on his back.
Wind and fire began to rotate around Demigod Skyfire's sword as he wielded it.
All at once, Harrison felt immense pressure landing on his body and attempting to reduce him to a pulp as the winds threw him directly against the wall of the hall.
"Stop!" Commanded the Patriarch as he used his mana aura to diminish Harrison's flight against the wall.
"He faced the invader with a look of fear on his face. "Are you Demigod Skyfire?" Asked Westley, as he found his face similar to the one of Demigod Skyfire inside one of the encyclopedias containing the Demigods of the various powers in the city.
The invader did not speak. He casually stood aloft in space while still withholding his attack.
"It really is Demigod Skyfire." The elders of the Frost family were extremely shocked, and it was obvious that they had heard of that person.
Demigod Skyfire was one of the strongest demigods on the planet, and he became a demigod two hundred years after the war. He fought in the Apocalypse War as a blue-core swordsman, a subdivision of the mage warriors.
Before the induction of mana into the planet, he was one of the hidden swordmasters in the world who only became renowned during the war.
After the Apocalypse War, he was trapped on the northern continent, occupied by the demon, along with one hundred other mages and mage warriors that participated in the war.
He escaped by killing his way out of the northern continent 100 years later as a demigod swordmaster from the Blue Core stage. He was called the Demigod Skyfire, as he was a wind and fire dual swordmaster, and nobody knew his real name, as all the people that were familiar with him were dead.
He challenged different demigods for 100 years straight, throughout the whole human settlement, looking for a challenge. But still, he remained undefeated until he met the eighty-years-old Augustus on one of his travels.
Upon noticing that Augustus was a demigod, he issued a challenge to him, which Augustus accepted on the condition that he join the Crimson family if he lost to him.
After they fought for three days and nights, Augustus narrowly defeated him, and from then on, he became one of the grand elders of the Crimson family. He married and gave birth to Amy, who later became Augustus second wife.
Back to the present.
On confirming Demigod Skyfire's identity, Westley ordered the elders to attack him, as he believed they could slowly defeat him with numbers.
"Attack!"
As Westley issued out the attack command, all the elders shot towards Demigod Skyfire along with Westley.
"Ice lance!"
"Ice blizzard!"
'Ice bomb!"
"Ice ...." Various attacks were hurled towards Demigod Skyfire.
There wasn't any emotion coming out of him when he stared at his attacking enemies and their attacks. His aura simply radiated a fiery sharpness that became more intense with each passing second.
Then he spoke. "Sword formation: one hundred swords," creating one hundred ethereal swords made with both wind and fire elements that floated next to him.
Westley saw this and felt a dangerous sensation coming from them. He also cast his spell, "Ice Formation: Frozen Shield." A huge shield that stood 10 meters high was created, which stood majestically in front of him and the elders.
Seeing this, Demigod Skyfire waved his hands and released his attack towards Westley and the others.
Boom!" The ethereal swords met with the various attacks and destroyed them while still continuing towards the shield.
"Bang!" The shield barely managed to defend itself against the swords, with cracks appearing all over its body.
On seeing his attack being defended against, Demigod Skyfire released another "one hundred swords" with an aura stronger than the first.
Westley and the others retreated as they cast movement and defense spells on themselves when they sensed the power contained in those approaching ethereal swords, but they were too slow. Mages and mage warriors below the demigod couldn't match the speed and power of a high-grade spell.
"Aura shield!"
"Water Shield!"
"Water protection!"
"Boom!"
As the attack reached the elders of the Frost clan, it shredded the various defense spells they cast on their bodies and the ones inscribed on their robes. The tide of swords seeped into their bodies and pierced their internal organs. They all vomited blood mixed with a little bit of their innards, and they collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily. Only Westley was barely able to dodge the attack.
Noticing Westley managed to avoid his attack again, Demigod Skyfire became focused as he uttered, "Mana domain: sword world."
A world made up of fire and wind sword auras suddenly appeared and covered the whole hall. Some of the walls of the hall crumbled down as they were disintegrated by the sword aura that made up the domain. Even Adamson's corpse was reduced to ashes due to the attack.
On seeing his son's corpse disintegrating, Harrison shouted "no" while charging towards Demigod Skyfire before he was forcefully pinned down on the floor by Westerly.
"Do you want to die? Shouted angrily, Westley.
As the mana domain covered Westerly, he suddenly felt his strength decrease by 40 percent while the Demigod Skyfire aura kept on increasing.
The other elders paled as blood came out of their mouths. Their insides were a mess, and they couldn't stop the spreading destruction caused by the invading sword aura, even with their complete focus. They could only feel the pain increase every second.
Demigod Skyfire suddenly withdrawn his mana domain as he didn't plan to kill them.
"So he is an awakened demigod!" Mothered the elders.
They were all abnormally nervous. An awakened Demigod was not someone they could take on without the presence of their ancestor, Demigod Frosten, in the clan, as he was also an awakened Demigod, but he had left the family estate to travel around the continent 100 years ago.
Unlike other stages of the mana core, the violet-grade core is divided into two stages: the unawakened violet core and the awakened violet core. The difference between the two stages is that the latter had awakened their mana domain, while the former had yet to do so.
Mana domains are operated on the principle of controlling the mana in a specific area to create a miniature world that favors the caster while reducing the strength of the others inside the domain. Inside the domain, the caster is akin to a god, as they possess ultimate control over the laws that make up the miniature world they create.
With a mana domain, mages and mage warriors could manipulate the ambient mana and reduce the mana density where their enemies stood.
When mages and mage warriors reach the violet core, the laws that make up their domains depend on the element they are attuned to. 80 percent of their domain will be made up of their attuned element, while the remaining 20 percent is made up of combinations of all other major elements.
An awakened demigod can only be faced by an awakened demigod. Five unawakened demigods are not a match for a single awakened demigod.
"Senior Skyfire, you just want Harrison? Is it fine if we give him to you?" inquired Westley as he chose to callously surrender Harrison to Demigod Skyfire.
No, father, you can't do this to me!" Shouted Harrison as he tried to escape from the destroyed family hall.
I can't let you leave alive, said Skyfire as he swung his sword, which released a wind blade in the direction of Harrison.
"Swoosh."
Blood splattered all over the floor. In a daze, Harrison felt his upper body slowly sliding down from his lower body.
"Thud"
"Am I dead?" Harrison's vision gradually fell into darkness. With a bang, the two halves of the body fell to the ground.
Westley's face turned purple with rage, but he didn't dare say even a single thing. He was doing his best to control his emotions, as he knew even two of them were not a match for Skyfire.
Demigod Skyfire suddenly turned his head toward Westley, not minding the rage flashing through his eyes. "I don't think it was over with his death. Don't think that because you were giving part of the power to govern the sanctuary along with us, you are on the same level as the Crimson family. The Crimson family will be expecting your compensation for today's incident before tomorrow's ending." Said Demigod Skyfire with a mocking smile on his face.
"Swoosh," Demigod Skyfire said, disappearing with the wind as if he were never there before.
On noticing his absence, the other elders quietly looked around the hall before finally breathing out in relief after finally confirming his departure.
One of the Magenta elders suddenly called out, "Patriar..."
"Shut up! Everybody should get out of the hall now! I will send the compensation to the Crimson estate myself." Shouted Westley with a furious look on his face, without waiting for the elder to finish his sentence.
All the elders quickly exited what remained of the hall, as they were not ready to face his anger.
As all the elders had exited the hall, Westley moved towards Harrison's dissected corpse and said, "I will surely avenge you, even if I am going to destroy the Frost family down along the line with me." Muttered Westley with a crazed look on his face.
"Crimson family, let's wait and see." He carried Harrison's body away from the hall to bury him.

In the forbidden ground of the Frost family, a majestic mansion lays there.
Inside the mansion, a cold beauty about 13 years old was meditating in one of the rooms.
The door of the room creaked open, and a middle-aged woman entered.
She looked towards the meditating girl and said, "Your father had been killed by one of the grand elders of the Crimson family."
As the girl opened her eyes, the entire room was suddenly covered in ice.
"And so? He is not my father; he was just a sperm donor, and I am sure he was killed for his and my brother's stupidity," replied the cold beauty with an indifferent look on her face before she fully immersed herself back into meditation.
"Interesting!" said the middle-aged woman. She was one of the seven heroes of the Apocalypse War, True Demigod Demetria. Nobody except the cold beauty knew that she was presently in the Frost family.
"Don't forget you will be attending the Unified Academy in the next two years."
She left without waiting for a reply from the meditating girl.
