In one of the streets in the Redrush city, Leo and Rose were moving back towards their carriage with Leo hands full of clothes and other accessories bought by Rose during her shopping spree.
Right when Leo and Rose were about to reach the space where their carriage was parked, they were blocked by a group of people consisting of three youths wearing white robes with the insignia of the Frost family, "Ice lotus" embroidered on the left side of their robes.
Following behind the three youth was a thin average looking youth with a ruffled white hair of about eighteen years old, who gracefully walked toward Rose with his chest puffed out.
"Hello Ms. Rose."
"What a coincidence. I wouldn't have thought to see you here today, it must be fate." said the smiling youth with his crooked teeth fully on display while slightly panting from rushing over there.
It wasn't a coincidence he met Rose today. He had planted many spies around the whole city to inform him whenever they sighted her.
One hour ago, he was formerly enjoying himself in the embraces of three women in one of his frequently visited brothel before receiving a call from his communication jade. It was one his spies that called him to inform him of Rose presence in the city. On hearing this, he quickly walked out of the brothel without adjusting his clothes and moved towards her location.
On hearing the voice, Rose and Leo brows became lightly furrowed, they saw a youth slightly gasping for breath standing in front of them with his scattered hair and roughed up clothes.
Upon seeing this the surrounding people on the street started whispering among themselves:
"Isn't that young master Adamson from the Frost family?"
"I heard he was born with a Rank 5 Water affinity, that's why he was adopted by the son of the Frost family head."
"I heard he is now a Bright Orange Core mage at the age of seventeen."
"That's an outdated news" said one man with a proud look on his face. My distance cousin working as a guard in the Frost family mansion told me he overheard him reporting to his father, after he came back from the Academy that he had broken through to the Dim Yellow Core."
"What an amazing genius!"
"What genius? His mates that have the same mana affinity rank as him are already at the minimum of Light Yellow Core." Whispered another person.
"I heard the elders of the clan are pressuring his adoptive father to send him out of the clan because of his disgraceful acts but he altercated with them."
"Isn't that the young miss of the Crimson family, Miss Rose and the trash young master of the Crimson family?"
"Shush!" Said another spectator while covering the mouth of the man that said the statement, "Don't let any member of the Alina's family catch you saying that or else you will be dealt with."
"The young miss is so beautiful, the rumours did not do any justice to her beauty!" Said another spectator with a fascinated look on his face.
"What do you expect, she is one of the top three Unified Academy's Campus Belle."
Various stories were being discussed about Rose, Leo and Adamson by the spectating people.
"The youth coming towards Leo and Rose was indeed Adamson Frost, the foster son of the first son of the Patriarch of the Frost family. He was born to one of the servants of the family and was later adopted after his talent rank was discovered."
"Few people also believed and spread a rumor that he was a bastard son of his adoptive father as he had the same signatory hair as the Frost family direct descendants and a little bit of the features of his adoptive father, but they were never heard from again so the rumor faded away with time."
"Adamson was known throughout the city as the profligate young master of the Frost family. He and Leo were called the two trashy young masters throughout the inner sanctuary."
"The Frost family are one of the four major powers that controls the sanctuary. They are family composed of only Water and Ice magicians as their members were attuned to the Ice and Water Elements."
"They considered themselves as the rival of the Crimson family as a result of possessing the Water and Ice element affinities, which are the opposing elements of the Fire element but this rivalry is considered as one sided as all the people in the sanctuary did not believe they are worthy of being so."
Adam face was slightly pale as he always indulged himself in carnal pleasure. He had almost visited all the brothels in the inner sanctuary.
Currently, Adamson's eyes were filled with heat and were gazing at the standing Rose who was beside Leo with an unrestrained hint of lust while completely ignoring his presence.
Looking at the delighted Adamson, Rose slim eyebrows wrinkled. Not paying attention to his call, she turned away.
She and Adamson entered the Unified Academy in the same year. Ever since the first time Adamson set his eyes on her, he was bewitched by her beauty and had always pestered her whenever he saw her.
He had confessed his love numerous times to her, but all of his advances were always met with rejection from Rose.
"Miss Rose!"
Looking at Rose from the side, Adamson face became anxious and he quickly moved closer towards her.
Blocked by the youth, Rose stopped her steps. Her pair of long and beautiful red eyes were lazily narrowed staring at him. Yet she did not utter a single word.
"Rose…" Stared at by the pupils that shoned bright like the sun, he became speechless despite the fact that he was used to flirting with beauties, his breathing became somewhat hurried. His clever tongue had lost all of its use for the moment.
"Young master Adamson, if there isn't anything urgent, please get out the way. We still have to do something." Said Rose with an expressionless look on her face while pulling Leo closer towards her embrace.
Seeing this, Adamson became jealous and he finally noticed Leo.
"How I wished I could change positions with him." He thought inwardly.
Taking a deep breath within his mind, he asked with a gentle look on his face, "Ms. Rose, have you come to the market to buy something? I'm quite free right now so why don't we look around the market together?"
The surrounding people were surprised and also not surprised as this profligate young master was speaking with a such a gentle voice towards Rose as he has always been known to forcing himself on women that didn't accept his advances. But they knew in their minds that it was as a result of Rose being from the giant Crimson family.
"Are you sure you are free, what about the women you left unsatisfied before coming here?" Suddenly Leo mocked with an evil smile on his face.
Shut up! Am not talking to you trash.
But we are both known as the two trashy young masters of the three great families in the sanctuary.
How dare you call our young master trash? Asked one of the youths behind Adamson.
"Shut up, I'm talking to your young master, not you." Leo shot a fierce glance towards his direction.
The youth flinched upon seeing Leo's gaze towards him.
How can I be scared of this trash gaze? He muttered inwardly before fearlessly shooting his own gaze back at him.
"Youuuu!" said Adamson angrily as he pointed his right index finger at Leo.
"Upon seeing this scene, Rose bursted into an uncontrollable laughter."
"Why are you angry, aren't we both supposed to be thrashy brothers in arm?" Asked Leo.
"As a brother in arm, I will advise you to stop being a toad lusting after a swan meat. Go and look for ladies that suit your look and if you can't find any, you can come and find me in the Crimson's family estate to help you out." Said Leo with an innocent smile on his face.
On hearing Leo's words, Adamson face became flushed and he almost vomited blood out of anger but he forcefully swallowed back the blood that came to his mouth.
"Let's go sister!"
You can't leave without the permission of the young master, said one of the youth.
Really?
"Yes!"
He faced another one and asked again, "Really?"
"Yes!"
He faced the last guy and asked, "Is what they said true?"
The last youth didn't respond as he just looked at Leo face to confirm whether he had once knocked his head against the ground when he was young.
Leo dragged Rose away from their former path and started moving again towards the carriage.
"Stop them!"
"But young master they are from the Crimson family." Protested one of the youths.
And so, it is either you stop that bitch and that trash or I kill you myself, said the angered Adamson with his eyes on fire.
