When I woke up, I was met with two worried expressions from my parents in our bed. Guilt immediately took over me as my parents immediately went for a hug.
"Do you have any idea how worried we are, Matt!? Magic isn't something you can learn without anyone looking!!" I lower my head in shame.
"S-sorry....." I choked up. I suddenly receive a pat on my head. I look up to see dad smiling at me sadly.
"Don't do anything reckless again, okay Matt?" I simply nod slowly. "But still, to think you can use Nature-based magic. You're a prodigy, son."
"Honey, please don't encourage him." Mom was exasparated but she is actually smiling.
"I gave the credit where its due, dear." Dad said with a wink as mom chuckles. Okay, they start kissing now. This is awkward. They may be my parents, but I still feel awkward having people kiss in front of others nonchalantly.
"I can't exactly say you're wrong. You're amazing, Matt. I would never expect you to able to access Nature magic." I can't help but feel confused.
"Why is it amazing?" I tilt my head. It's one of the bad habits that carries on from my past life. I think people find it cute due to how young I am, and probably cringe if I did it in adulthood.
"Well, dear, you know about nobles, right?" Mom asked with a strain smile.
"Noble? Is that the fat man who made ugly face during my birthday?" Mom and dad chortle, trying and failed not to laugh.
"P-please, don't say that in front of them." Dad tries to advised me before whispering. "You can say sometjing worse behind their back." I snort and apparently, mom knows what dad is saying as she slaps his head.
"Don't corrupt your child with your moral!" Mom then turn towards me. "Nobles are known for their amazing talents, especially for Aura and Magic."
"Aura?" That's another thing I didn't expect. Aura exist here?
"We talk about Aura later. Anyways, due to their amazing talents, they can use magics that no many people can use. One of them is nature magic." So, in summary, anyone can use all basic elements by projecting their thoughts, but unusual ones are only available for certain people.
Is this another perk of being Isekai'd or a secret gift from Lord Anubis? If it's the latter, I am very grateful, my lord.
"Wait, you mean that man can use Nature magic? Is that why he's fat? Growing tomatoes after tomatoes to feed himself?" Mom and dad apparently find my faux innocent act funny as they burst out laughing.
"Y-yes!" Dad choked before wheeze. Mom looks like she want to slaps him but she was too busy controlling herself.
I love my family.

After one hell of a laughter, mom and dad ask me to get some rest to replenish my mana. Apparently, growing plants took shit tons of mana and due to the first time unlocking my mana, I got mana exhaustion.
Thankfully, it was a minor case since mana exhaustion could lead people to death.
Note to self, learn how to replenish mana fast or even store extra mana for further uses.
I wrote several key things into the notebooks mom bought me to learn this world's mother tongue. Apparently, the language is mostly english with greek as its secondary language. Nobles apparently knows this like a second nature for them, especially when it's the language mostly used for politics with other kingdoms.
Is that how the nobles overcompensate something? Cuz that sounds dumb.
And apparently, spells use another type of language, Latin. I can feel the headache of learning new languages.
But, I won't let that minor problem deters me. This will only made me more determined to learn.
I may have given access to unusual elements, but I'll not going to simply lazing around. I'll made my parents proud, and shows Lord Anubis that my second chance won't be wasted by a pathetic glutton!

You don't have go such length, but I like your spirit. I wish you for the best, Matthew.

After asleep till the next day, woking up and having some breakfast, mom brought the largest book I ever saw in both my life covered in dust.
"Why is it dusty?" I cough as some dusts fly towards my face. I desperately waves my hand to get rid of the dust.
"Sorry, Matt. It's an old spellbook from my grandfather." I perked up and immediately stood on the chair, letting my childish giddiness overtook me, causing mom to chuckles.
"Calm down, Matt." I sheepishly smile before sit back down. "My grandfather is very fond of magic, taking notes of any magic spells he ever saw, and learn the theories behind the magic to discover new things about it." I was too busy shaking on the seat while holding the notebook. "Perhaps you inherit it from him."
You can't blame me for being excited, mom. It's magic!!! A fantasy power system come true!!!
"There are few things you need to know about magic, Matt. First is visualisation. Think of it as an imagination." I look at her. "If you want fire, you need to think the heat emits from it, and the power it made, and perhaps imagine how big or small it is."
So, the visualisation also works on the size, note that down, Matt.
"Second is incantation." I perk up before looking at her as she said 'Ignicullus' and small fire appears from her palm. "Each magic is different and we need to say the name of the spell to activates it."
"But, mom, what if we didn't chant the name of the spell?" I asked.
"I'm.....not sure. No one has ever done it, and even from back then, it was considered impossible." I furrowed my brow in confusion. How does that work?
"Mom...I grow that tomato without saying the name." Mom suddenly froze before staring at me. Its starting to get uncomfortable as ahe continues to stare.
"Matt...can you show me? Try 'Ignicullus'." I nodded before open my palm. I visualize what's made a fire. The heat of the flame, the combustion caused by collisions of atoms, chemical reaction between fuels and oxygen, oxygen burnt creating carbon dioxide and water. To my shock, a powerful burst of flame came out of my palm as Mom shout in shock.
I immediately stop myself visualizing as smokes starts to spread out. Thank lord Anubis we try it outside the house or else it'll be nothing but ashes.
So, scientific visualization also helps. At least
".....Matt....." I turn to see mom stare in awe. "Y-you use magic.....without incantation!" She went to hug and lift me up in the sky. "You're amazing, Matt! You have your grandfather's talent, discovering new things about magic!"
I can't help but laugh happily. Mom looks like fire was ignited insde her. So, mom loves research as well. I guess that explain the explanation she made yesterday.
"I'm so proud of you, Matt! You'll be an amazing person in the future!" Mom said before patting my head. Come on, Matt, don't cry, please don't make it suspicious. "Matt? Why are you crying?"
Damn it!! Why are you so emotional, Matt!?
"I-I remember..... mom and dad cry.....when I was born.....I thought....that's what you do when you are so happy....." I really need to held back from lying too much.
"....you silly child." She chuckles before hugging me. "You are a miracle to us no matter what other people said about you, Matt. Remember that, okay?"
"Mmm!" I nodded while smiling widely.
