"Are you tired, Eli?" Hector said to Elizabeth, who was compiling a mountain of documents on her desk as Hector had just returned from a meeting.
"Not much but I'm a little tired." Elizabeth said without looking at him.
Hector didn't say anything else, then he made a special herbal tea and gave her a cup with a smile.
"Thank you, Master." Elizabeth said as she took the tea, placed it next to her and used a magic skill to cast it on the tea as if to check for some strange substance.
"Are you really worried about this tea?" Hector asked curiously.
"You have mixed sleeping pills for me before. That's why I am so worried." Elizabeth replied with slight indignation.
"That time, I'm so sorry about that but there won't be a second time, trust me." Hector apologized again.
"Anyway, it's hard to trust you, Master." Elizabeth said, holding up a cup of herbal tea in her hand and drinking it thirstily.
Hector caught the moment that Elizabeth was drinking tea. He cast some skills and quickly pointed his finger at the back of Elizabeth's neck.
"Ouch!" Elizabeth seemed to faint immediately. The teacup slipped out of her hand, causing the tea to spill onto the table, but it was stopped just in time by Hector's skill.
"Almost there. Phew!" Hector said after using magic to return the teacup to its normal place on the table. Elizabeth had already fallen unconscious, but Hector took advantage of the moment she was drinking tea to temporarily loosen her defenses. This gave him the opportunity to use magic to completely make the opponent unconscious.
"Sorry, Eli. But on this mission, I really don't want you to go with me. The plan will all go wrong." Hector said, bringing a blanket to cover Elizabeth, who was still fast asleep at her desk. Hector immediately rushed towards the female student dormitory building.
At the girls' dormitory, Mariel, Beatrix, and Mania had just finished researching textbooks which they had borrowed from the library for writing a report for the Professors.
"I'm so tired. It's time to get ready for bed and don't forget our plan. Tomorrow we'll rather go shopping in the city on the weekend." Beatrix said, writhing in exhaustion.
"That's it. I want to buy some more stationery." Mania said.
"Provisions for cooking ingredients are also running low. I'll make a list and then choose some together at the market." Mariel said.
Knock! Knock! There was a knock at the door.
"Coming!" Mariel said as she hurried to open the door and was surprised at the person in front of her. It was Principal Hector.
"Hello, Principal Hector. Why do you come late at this night?" Mariel said.
But Hector's solemn expression made Mariel's smile disappeared because she realized something strange.
"Get dressed and follow me! The first mission has arrived!" Hector said and hurriedly walked to wait outside the building.
"Ok!" Mariel replied and immediately felt excited because she had been waiting a long time for an important mission with Principal Hector. Then she hurriedly dressed in her school uniform and didn't forget to prepare a spare set of clothes in case an uncertain situation occurred.
"See you later." Mariel said goodbye to her friends as she carried a small bag containing another set of school uniforms and was putting on her shoes.
"Good luck and come back without any seriously injured." Beatrix said.
"Please come back with 32 parts of your body." Mania said.
"Everyone really wishes me well." Marielle responded, closing the door.
Mariel rushed out of the dormitory building and found that Hector had the teleport warp open and was ready for the first mission.
"Where are we going?" Mariel asked curiously.
"You'll find out." Hector said without looking at her.
When they walked through the teleport warp, their bodies were like being sucked into the space of time and appearing at a certain place.
There was some light in this place, but it was quite dark. The ground they stepped on felt strangely hot, as if below it was covered with flames that were ready to burn everything to ashes. The surrounding atmosphere is full of stalactite caves with dew drops on the rocks in many places.
"The weather is really hot, and the atmosphere isn't good." Mariel said, wiping away the sweat that kept flowing out of her.
"It's going to get even hotter." Hector said with a smile on his face.
"It's hotter and then we'll be cooked and ready to eat." Mariel said.
"Not that much." Hector replied with a smile.
The atmosphere around them suddenly transformed into a sea of fire, leaving only a circle the size of a small racetrack where they were standing. The heat of the flames made them feel uncomfortable and hard to breathe. The temperature became so hot that it was as if their bodies were being burned to the ground.
"Leave your bag with me first." Hector said, casting a spell on Mariel's shoulder bag and it suddenly disappeared.
"Thank you." Mariel said, ready to fight.
The sound of screaming and roaring came from far away. In front of them, it appeared the dark shadow of a creature as large as a building two or three floors tall.
Red eyes stared at them with fury, as if this creature had been disturbed and woken up from its slumber.
"Who...is bothering...me...?" A loud scream that almost hurts my eardrums echoes throughout this cave.
"Don't let your guard down, Mariel. I brought you here for the first mission and easiest one." Hector warned.
"You bring me here to be slaughtered." Mariel said, staring unblinkingly at the large creature.
The creature slowly approached until it could be seen more clearly as the flames gradually revealed their astonishing appearance.
It's a Zombie Dragon!" The body consisted of a large skeleton, with no organs or skin covering it at all. Red eyes were like fireballs staring at them and it seemed to want to crush them into dust. Huge skeletal wings fluttered until it created a small storm, along with sharp bone claws that were ready to tear and rip victims into pieces.
"Who do I see here? It's Hector... How long has it been since we fought together? And this time, you bring a new student with you." the Zombie Dragon said without moving his mouth even an inch.
"Today I bring my first student in nearly 100 years to compete with you." Hector said.
"No matter how many students you bring, they can't fight me!" Zombie Dragon shouted loudly to intimidate the opponent, but Mariel was not afraid, even summoned the Dragon Slayer Sword and prepared to fight with all her might.
"Wait! You look down on me, right? Is this a female student? Why have you changed so much, Hector?" The Zombie Dragon said in disbelief that the student Hector had brought was just a female student. It's not liked a male student in the past.
(Again...What's the big deal? It seemed that I was a woman, but I fought with many men until they were on the ground and there were countless of them. I'll show you!) (Chai thinking)
"I don't look down on you. Zombie Dragon. This girl is extraordinary, I warn you." Hector said with a smile.
"You don't have to praise me that much. I'm scared." Mariel said.
"Since Hector dares to make such assertions. Then I'll have to test you out!" The Zombie Dragon said as it conjured purple magic around itself. Then it cast a spell on the ground that was as hot as a flame.
Crack...
The sound of the ground moving apart by 100 points, as if something had awakened from its slumber and wanted to rise again.
A loud roar sounded throughout the area.
Over 100 skeletal zombies woke up from the ground with swords and shields in both hands and stared hostilely at Mariel and Hector.
"Do I have to take care of all of this?" Mariel said in a trembling voice because this time the mission is much too hard for her.
"I'll let you choose: Between exterminating the 100 skeleton zombies that are dead that can keep coming back to life or fighting that Zombie Dragon in front of you." Hector asked a question at her with a neutral expression.
"Can I reject two of these choices?" Mariel replied.
"You don't have other choice, I am sorry. So, I'll choose to take down the skeleton zombie army. As for that Zombie Dragon, I gave it to you. Lol." Hector replied with a laugh.
"Do you want me to fight this Zombie Dragon?....Ah!!!" Mariel screamed, she was grabbed by a zombie dragon using a large bony paw to grab her entire body, almost unable to move.
"You're playing carelessly, let me go!" Mariel said, trying to wriggle out of the zombie dragon's bony claws.
"Good luck, Mariel. Your first mission is defeating the Zombie Dragon because I need one dragon's breath to make a kind of medicine." Hector informed her about the mission.
"Help me first!" Mariel shouted, pleading for help.
"I'll take care of these first. Do it by yourself." Hector said as he began casting fire and ice spells on the skeleton zombies that were fighting at him.
"It's a pity that a female student who has a pretty face would have to leave her life here." The Zombie Dragon sneered at her, who tried to wriggle free from the bone's grip.
"I'm not accept this kind of compliment. Let me go now! If we're going to fight, can't both sides be ready and prepare for it?" Mariel asked.
"If you have wisdom, you can handle it yourself." the Zombie Dragon sneered.
"You challenged me!" Mariel said with a smile.
A light suddenly appeared on Mariel's body, causing the Zombie Dragon to be momentarily stunned. Suddenly, it appeared as Qi energy spread out from her body, causing the Zombie Dragon's paw to be shattered into pieces.
Mariel hurriedly jumped down to the ground and picked up the Dragon Slayer Sword, ready to fight with all her might. An aura of Qi surrounds her at all times.
"Not bad, you dared to use your power to shatter my paw to pieces." The Zombie Dragon said with slightly praised.
"But your bony paw is gone." Mariel said.
"Have you thought about it yet? Lol." Zombie Dragon said with laugh.
"What? Don't tell me that." Mariel said as her head thought of something she didn't want to happen.
Immediately, the Zombie Dragon's shattered bone paw healed back as if nothing had happened. It slowly moved a newly assembled bone paw with a satisfied expression on its face.
"Can your skeleton repair itself all the time?" Mariel said with a worried look on her face, because if that were the case, it would be like fighting endlessly.
"Most definitely. I'm going to have to test you for a long time, Lol." The Zombie Dragon said while boosting its power.
"Principal Hector. Isn't there any magic that prevents The Zombie Dragon from healing itself?" Mariel asked Hector, who was still releasing magic power to destroy the hordes of dead skeleton zombies that were constantly reviving.
"As for the Zombie Dragon itself, it has a special status that no magic can counter its regeneration. Use all your abilities to deal with it in other ways." Hector answered.
"That's right, any spells of blocking or countering magics can't do anything to me. So, you are like fighting something that can't die?" Zombie Dragon sneered.
"I'll find a way to defeat you, just wait and see!" Mariel said with a still unyielding look in her eyes.
Mariel uses all kinds of strategies to fight the Zombie Dragon with no effort but the more they fought, the more it seemed as if she was losing her magic power. But The Zombie Dragon stood firm and could endlessly regenerate its own skeletal form.
Mariel stood there panting from exhaustion and wounds all over her body. As for the Zombie Dragon, although it was somewhat tired, but did not have any wounds or cracks on its skeleton.
"Still better than the previous ones, but still much inferior to Victor." the Zombie Dragon admired.
"Can Victor defeat you?" Mariel asked curiously.
"Not to that extent but he made me have a lot more fun. You are still far away from him, Lol." Zombie Dragon said, laughing loudly as if mocking her.
"It hurts me!" Mariel's concentration began to flutter because of the others' insults, and she began to lose control of her own consciousness.
"Mariel, don't panic and find a solution." Hector saw this was not good and immediately turned to warn her before it was too late.
"It just needs to be a face-to-face collision!" Mariel didn't care anymore and turned her power to the max and rushed to attack the Zombie Dragon without any effort.
No matter how many moves are thrown at it, The Zombie Dragon's bones that were cracked or shattered always came back together again. It made her even angrier.
"There must be a way. No one can stand this long forever." Mariel thought for a moment and opened a loophole that shouldn't have happened.
"I got you!" The Zombie Dragon had the moment and slammed its bone fist with the utmost power into Mariel's body.
Scorching!!!
There was a loud sound of bones breaking.
"Ah!!!!" Mariel cried out in pain as blood spurted from her mouth while her body bounced far away.
"Mariel!!" Hector shouted in shock, but it was already too late.
