"You are doing much better. Are you practice alone?" Mariel asked, praising Mania after just finishing training in the simulator room while Mania performing her support to the party more than 70 % successfully in only a short period of time.
"I guess I must practice alone in the middle of the night. I will be able to cast fire magic more accurately and more powerfully than before." Beatrix said.
"Not that much. If it weren't for our clones as well. I wouldn't have made this much progress." Mania said.
"Your skill is so advanced. Does anyone else help train you?" Mariel asked curiously. Mania had not yet been able to answer, and her trainer was already standing behind Mariel.
"It's me." Elizabeth said. Mariel was a little startled when she suddenly appeared behind her without warning.
"I'm shocked!" Mariel said.
"Vice Principal Elizabeth is teaching her a lot. That's why Mania will definitely get even better." Beatrix said that she had known for a long time the fame of Hector and Elizabeth, so it was no surprise that Mania had changed into a completely different person within a few days.
"Thank you very much, Miss Elizabeth." Mania thanked her and bowed.
Sometimes I give advice to other students whenever I can. It is the duty of Professor as well." Elizabeth said, it is the important duties of all Professors and didn't have to focus on just a few students.
"By the way, you come to see us during this time. Is there something urgent?" Mariel asked curiously.
"Tonight at 10:00 PM, the second mission will begin. I ask you to get ready and meet me in front of the school building. Don't be late." Elizabeth said.
"Understood!" Mariel responded with an excited expression.
"This mission will not be like the first one. It might be more difficult and don't be careless. See you soon." Elizabeth said, walking away after saying goodbye to them.
"I really want to know how brutal it will be. The energy inside of me are ready for it." Mariel said, clenching both fists.
"Bring back the victory to us." Beatrix said.
"Come back and make your all 32 pieces alive." Mania teased.
"Thanks for your cheer up." Mariel said while shook her head lightly.
That night at 10:00 p.m. in front of the school building, Mariel arrived about 30 minutes early, along with Beatrix and Mania, who were waiting for their professors to go on 2nd Mission.
Hector and Elizabeth walked down from the school building and immediately walked towards them. Hector's eyes were smiling, and Elizabeth's were silent.
"Your expressions look clearly different, Principal Hector and Vice Principal Elizabeth." Beatrix said.
"Let's breathe some fresh air. After being confined to a room for a long time." Hector said in a good mood.
"If you make another mistake arbitrarily. Next time, you will definitely not see the sun again, Professor Hector." Elizabeth said in a serious tone.
"I don't dare do it again, promised." Hector said.
"No matter how many times the promise has been made, it's still the same." Elizabeth said.
"Alright, it's time to teleport now." Hector said as he immediately opened a large teleport warp while Mariel stood in front of him, and Elizabeth stayed close to him.
"You can do it." Beatrix greeted.
"Please come back alive." Mania said.
The three of them walked through the teleport warp and then it closed. As for Beatrix and Mania, they returned to the dormitory.
Wink....
The three of them teleported to a valley far from the city. This mountain is higher than the clouds. The surrounding air was quite cold and there were no living creatures here. There were only bushes and large rocks scattered around the place.
"There doesn't seem to be anything here...Is the second mission necessary to be done here?" Mariel asked curiously.
"Not too long." Hector said.
The ground which they were standing on shook, and they almost fell. Mariel tried to keep herself from falling to the ground. As for Hector and Elizabeth, they stood there calmly and without any signs of fear.
"Who... dared... invade... my place!" A mysterious voice reverberated throughout this place, almost hurting their eardrums.
Boom....
The sound of a large object falling from the top of the mountain in front of the three people at close range. Dust filled the area, and it was almost impossible to see what was in front of them for a moment. Mariel tried to brush the dust out of her eyes, while Hector and Elizabeth still stood there without any fear.
"How dare you challenge me?" A loud shout resounded from the tall creature in front of them.
This creature resembled a large stone golem approximately 3 meters tall. Red eyes flashed beneath a face that was made up of rocks that looked tough and hard to destroy. A stone fist larger than a normal hand, ready to smash anything in front of it. In the middle of the chest was a symbol like some kind of magic, but with one line in the middle indicating something.
"Alright, today's second mission, Mariel.. You must defeat this Giant Stone Golem and take the crystal heart inside, but it is difficult because this golem is very strong and has immunity to all kinds of magic." Hector said.
"So only the physical damage can handle it, right?" Mariel asked.
"Exactly." Hector replied cheerfully.
"Let's see how strong it is!" Mariel said confidently as she conjured up the Dragon Slayer Sword and prepared to fight at full strength.
"Are you going to beat me?" The giant stone golem sneered at her.
"I will knock you down!" Mariel said while boosted her physical energy to maximum.
"What is the point of us who's just standing here and watching this fight? Let's help her a little." Hector said while using his magic wand and stabbed it into the ground, causing a large circle of magic to appear beneath Mariel's feet. A white light flashed and spread throughout Mariel's body until she felt her power double up.
"This power.." Mariel asked with curiosity.
"It's a small gift from me." Hector said with a smile.
"Thank you very much. Let's fight!" Mariel thanked him as she rushed forward and slashed her sword at the stone golem.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The sound of the sword hitting the stone fist never stopped. Each side received quite severe wounds. The giant stone golem had cracks around its body after several battles. As for Mariel, she was hit by a storm of fists all over her face, arms, legs, and other parts of her body, causing bruises but it didn't make her give up easily and made her more energetic than before.
"Is this all you got? Put it all in!" Mariel shouted as blood continued to spurt out of her mouth.
"You are crazy!" The giant stone golem said as it returned several punches.
Mariel narrowly avoided the blow of the stone fist, then she jumped in the air and slammed her sword into the middle of the stone golem's head, causing
a crack and its body flew into the distance.
"You bastard!" The giant stone golem didn't give up, but instead slammed its full force into Mariel's stomach, sending her body flying far away.
"Ouch.." Mariel was hurt that she could hardly stand after being hit by such a powerful punch.
"Alright, it's time for me to help you." Elizabeth said, casting a healing wand in circles that overlapped with Hector's. Mariel's body suddenly had a reaction that left her shocked.
Light green magic flowed around Mariel's body. The bruised body began to recover and return to its original state. Various wounds were completely healed. Moreover, more than half of her strength had returned.
"Unbelievable! My body seems to be back to normal again." Mariel said in surprise, turning to look at Elizabeth and Hector who stood behind her.
"The combination of two spells. The magic fields increase physical energy and provides maximum healing spell." Hector said.
"This is a piece of cake." Elizabeth said.
"Excellent!" Mariel said with great enthusiasm as she slammed a wave of swords at giant stone golem.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
The sound of the sword striking the giant stone golem caused more and more stone to shatter from its body.
"You mischievous brat!" The giant stone golem shouted while combining its two stone fists and slammed into Mariel's head, who had just slammed the sword into his own chest, causing a large crack.
Mariel's head was hit, and blood flowed out continuously until she collapsed on the ground. The Dragon Slayer Sword dropped from her hand and her consciousness faded due to the heavy injuries from this attack.
"It's over! Kid." The giant stone golem stumbled back from exhaustion as it tried to regain its strength and reunite the stone with itself.
Wink...
Mariel slowly raised her head and tried to lift herself slowly and courageously. Red eyes that still indicate determination and never give up. The blood that flowed all over her face couldn't make her feel discouraged from this fight.
"It's not over yet!" Mariel shouted loudly and rushed her physical energy to both hands, preparing to fight again.
Scorching!
Mariel clenched her fists and slammed into the stone golem's chest, causing cracks to appear.
"What! Are you crazy? You used your bare fists at me like this!" The giant stone golem cried out in pain.
Mariel's right hand was almost completely broken into pieces, but she still used her power to heal the gaping wound. Then she turned up the power once more and prepared to attack the giant stone golem continuously.
"I don't need to use a sword, just a punch!" Mariel shouted while charged forward and threw a big punch. The giant stone golem also looked at her angrily.
The two sides fought each other vigorously. Mariel, despite having a regenerative force field from Elizabeth to help her in another way. She was still injured almost all over her body. As for the stone golems, their condition was no different as the stones were scattered all over the ground in the battle area. It could indicate the trauma of the stone body that was beginning to no longer endure the attack.
"I didn't expect this brat to be so reckless!" the giant stone golem said in surprise.
Mariel hit the bottom of the giant stone golem's body and made a powerful punch up the stone golem's chin, causing it to float slightly off the ground.
"Ouch!" The giant stone golem cried out in pain.
Mariel didn't care anymore. She slammed her fists into the entire body of the giant stone golem until both hands were so gapped that the bones could almost be seen but she didn't care about this pain and continued to create a storm of punches into the opponent.
Elizabeth observed in the background and countless questions arose in her mind, but she continued to use her power to heal Mariel without stopping.
"This girl was same as Victor's reckless and fierce personality. It's like she's not a woman at all." said Elizabeth, suspicious of Mariel who acted like a man.
"Maybe she got this from her father." Hector said cheerfully.
"No wonder you dared to let her fight to the Zombie Dragon last time. Normally, if her skills aren't good enough, you would never take her to fight the Zombie Dragon like that." Elizabeth said.
"From what I have observed for a long time. This girl has a lot of interesting things inside. I have a lot of tests for her from now on." Hector said.
"Are you…." Elizabeth said with a shocked expression.
"Until that day, Eli." Hector replied.
The giant stone golem gathered its remaining strength and slammed into Mariel's right temple, causing the skull to crack.
"Even if my entire body is torn apart, I will defeat you!" Mariel shouted, rushing the remaining power into both hands, and slamming it into the middle of the stone golem's chest in the same spot.
The stone covering its chest body shattered until the blue crystal heart within could clearly be seen.
"I got you!" Mariel shouted in joy. Then she quickly used her right hand to firmly grab the stone golem's blue crystal heart to pull it out of its body.
"Do you think this will be easy?" The giant stone golem powered up to protect the blue crystal heart with such heat that it almost burned Mariel's hand.
"Ah!!!!" Mariel cried out in pain but still didn't let go of this crystal.
"Give it up, you brat!" the giant stone golem warned.
But... Mariel's eyes looking at the stone golem were full of determination and did not want to give up easily. Then, ice crystals formed on Mariel's hand, which began to dissipate the heat surrounding the stone golem's crystal and spread throughout her chest and to the rest of her body, making it unable to move anymore.
"No way!!!" The giant stone golem cried out in despair.
"You may be immune to all kinds of magic but it's not like that inside of you, lol." Mariel laughed happily before swatting away the ice magic power she learned from Deric during the final battle with Dekiran and used it to defeat this giant stone golem.
Sizzling!!!!
Ahh!!!!
The giant stone golem's final howl before being hit by the ice magic shattered the entire body's pulse until it shattered into pieces as the stones covering its entire body fell off one by one until finally piling up. It is a large group of rocks on the ground. The blue crystal heart was already in Mariel's hand.
A loud applause sounded from behind.
"Well done, my student." Hector praised with a delighted look on his face. As for Elizabeth, she immediately went to check on Mariel's body.
"Using your power more than your brain. Look, your body is completely damaged, and your right hand is almost useless. It needed to be treated immediately." Elizabeth complained but quickly used her power to heal Mariel and took out various pots of medicine from within her robes.
"It'll be hurt." Elizabeth warned, taking out a small bottle of gray liquid and pouring it over Mariel's right hand, which was gapped to the bone.
"Ouch!" Mariel cries out in pain but miraculously, her wounds healed so quickly that they were almost back to their original state in such a short period of time.
"Fortunately, the tendon was not severed. Otherwise, it will probably take longer to treat it. After this battle, you had to be treated for three full days until your body returned to normal. No more practice until you fully recover. If I find out, you will be severely punished, remember that!" Elizabeth said with a serious expression.
"I understand." Mariel accepted this, then she put the Dragon Slayer Sword into her body and prepared to return with the others.
"Today you fight alone. Eli and I were just providing a little support. It is considered to have passed the exam well and of course, the total score for Room 1 is 200 points and there is no prize money for this round but there will be something you will need in the future in return." Hector said.
Mariel was immediately interested in what exactly that thing might be.
"I would like to know what that thing will be." Mariel asked.
"A few days from now. I'll tell you when I finish creating this thing." Hector said.
Mariel gave Elizabeth a blue crystal heart to put in a small shoulder bag. Hector made a teleport warp for returning to school together.
As for the remnants of the giant stone golem, it began to recover slightly after the three of them left.
"I'm so tired." Mariel stretched out after the three of them returned from completing their second mission.
"Go back and rest. Don't forget! 3 days to recover. This is my order." Elizabeth said.
"Understood, Eli." Mariel said in the same words as Hector who talked to his assistant.
"I'm not laughing about this. Calling me by my initials like Principal Hector." Elizabeth chastised.
"I'm so sorry. Vice-Principal Elizabeth." Mariel hurriedly apologized and said the correct one.
"Good girl." Elizabeth breathed a sigh of relief.
The three of them laughed happily and then headed back to their rooms to rest after fighting hard last night.
