AUTHOR'S POV
De El tried to force the deer to speak again but Liam had bleed out too much and was growing cold. There was no way in this world to get him to wake and speak unless…
'Damn it'.
He would do this again but if he did, he would never be able to find his way out of the cage of unconsciousness If he used his power to revived this thing but, he needed to know who he and if he is from his realm.
'You better be worth everything I give you'.
De El slipped his claw out, the deer coughed out more blood. He lay his hand on the piercing.
'Heal.'
Power surged out of him, he stepped back, his size shrinking, the fur disappearing, flesh returning, crawling out from behind the black and grey. He crumbled to the floor.
"De El, what did you do?" It was Elish's voice. He let out a defeated chuckle.
'You better figure out how to get me out how to bond with me. I am you, don't forget that'.
He cringed back and fell on the ground, growling faintly until his voice disappeared entirely. There was nothing left but Elish, his clothes torn apart and he was on his fours, naked in the battered corn fields. Sweat covered his body, he was breathing hard, trying to keep his strength, what was left of it. The deer, still human and out cold, lying on the tree tainted of his blood.
Leo opened his eyes. He shuffled managing to pick himself up and sit. Hands on his sore face. He spat out the blood on his mouth. His teeth had really felt the impact; he did not lose any thankfully but it was like they were all swollen. He tried to think, to find his feet. But he could only stand, his brain rang like a bell. The headaches heavier than a boulder. The drums in his head beating hard. He supported his head.
His eyes lift up, to look ahead, the disaster met his gaze. An entire field of crops, crushed by the half. The shock, suddenly his face numbed, the sight shocked the pain away and all he could think of was.
'What this heck happened?'
His eyes felt a dead pig, the past slowly began to come back to him. They were shooting pigs. That kid, Liam shot Elish and Elish went wild. Very wild.
'Crap, did he do this? Where is he? Where is Liam?'
His weak Legs began to move, his sour mouth utterly forgotten. He was careening but catching himself and moving as fast as he could to the end of the devastation. Whatever made this would be there waiting. He was fast surprisingly faster than he thought he would be. He was approaching, closer and closer. The silhouette of a man on his fours was the first this he saw. Even with a bad and foggy head, he still knew it was Elish and he was not clad anymore. Not even a little.
He took off this jacket and began to run. It was not advisable. He tripped immediately almost falling on his face bit somehow he flapped his hand like a flightless bird and the effort granted he balanced, he found good foot hold in the third flap. Expecting the near fall to discourage him, it did not. He paced into a run again, faster this time and surprisingly, it worked. He got to the weak and worn out Elish.
"Dude, are you okay?" He threw the jacket on his behind but he could not tie it. Elish had no answer.
He knew what Leo was doing was most important. Finding some strength, he forced himself to knell, the big leather jacket- he caught it before it fell, picking up the sleeves and making a weak knot around his waist.
Leo had seen he could help himself. He left him, his goal now was to tend to the Kid on his face, on the grass and corn floor. He went straight for his stomach, giving him a turn over. The boy's body flipped and he landed in his back. Leo shriek back immediately, finally falling on the ground. Her eyes wide open and he could not even move anymore. The fear was back again. His limbs refused to make any move. He just stared, stared at the boy whose shirt had giant holes in them. He could not even make a sound.
Elish was too dazed to notice a thing. He closed his eyes, his body fell back, he met the hard floor too. He would think about what happened when he wakes up. The of them stayed as if lifeless on the floor of Mackenzie Corn Farm.

"Right this way officer. Hurry please, I saw three kids there when I was passing but everything was still intact. I don't know if there are still okay." The passerby who saw Liam, Elish and Leo when he was minding his business and wheeling down the road with his car, had been returning when he discovered the destroyed meadow. At first it seemed to be a work of human invention but then he came closer and he did not see anything normal anymore.
