Accidental Heroics: A Guide to Surviving Fantasy Land

--WSA 2025 ENTRY-- Sam wasn’t a hero. He was barely even a functional adult. Just a normal guy dropped into a fantasy world without his consent, Sam had one rule: Don’t be a hero. Unfortunately, when you’ve been “chosen by prophecy” and destiny clings to you like a bad smell, that’s easier said than done. Summoned to a world that is under siege by a mysterious force known only as the Void, Sam is immediately informed by a cryptic woman that he’s the savior foretold in legend. He wants no part of it. All he wants is to get back home. But fate isn’t taking no for an answer. Every time Sam tries to walk away, he ends up deeper in trouble — with crazed cultists, pirate queens, sea beasts, corrupted dukes, bureaucratic tribal councils, and at least three gods who shouldn’t be allowed to manage anything more complex than a spoon. Sure, he was granted powerful magic during the summoning. Unfortunately, it never seems to work when or how he actually needs it. Armed with accidental magic, weaponized sarcasm, and a complete lack of long-term planning, Sam stumbles through one disaster after another — slowly collecting an increasingly chaotic crew that includes: – A thief who sees every dilemma as an opportunity to get extra coin, – A cultist who just wants to open a bakery, – And a brooding adventurer still emotionally wrecked from his last breakup. (Oh, and a living plant. Don’t ask.) Sam’s only goal is to get home. But surviving in a world unraveling at the seams means more than just running away. It means bluffing your way through magical trials, navigating tangled politics, and occasionally wrestling a skeleton. If he’s lucky, he might just stop the Void from devouring reality. If not? Well, he’ll at least make fun of it until the very end.

A Fantasy's Alternative

Lynn finds himself relentlessly opposed by a group of chosen ones—heroes of destiny tasked with saving the world. Despite his many efforts to avoid them, fate keeps pushing him into conflict with these seemingly invincible figures. Desperate to find a way out, Lynn partners with a mysterious individual who gifts him a powerful system, one that offers unimaginable strength and potential. But even with these newfound abilities, Lynn repeatedly faces defeat at the hands of the chosen ones. No matter how many times he tries, the cycle continues, and Lynn begins to question if his fate is truly his own, or if he's simply a pawn in a game beyond his control. As the battles grow more intense and the stakes higher, Lynn must confront a harsh truth: some battles are never meant to be won. Lynn is ultimately defeated in his first confrontation, losing his life in the process. Refusing to accept defeat, Lynn reincarnates, determined to change the outcome. This time, armed with his knowledge and the system, he plans to outwit the chosen ones and alter the course of his fate. However, his actions, though calculated, lead him down an unforeseen path, and his manipulation of events ultimately backfires. In a tragic twist, Lynn is betrayed by his own decisions, leading to an unfair and untimely death at the hands of those he once sought to protect. After dying for the second time, Lynn is overwhelmed with doubt. His system, his strategies, and even his past lives have proven insufficient against the chosen ones—heroes of prophecy that seem invincible. As his world crumbles around him, Lynn is forced to confront a harsh truth: his strength, no matter how much it grows, will never be enough to defeat them. In the final moments as everything fades to black, in a desperate flash of clarity, a daring thought crosses his mind: If I can't defeat them... I will bring someone who can. —If this world is so determined to control my fate, then I’ll bring someone who is beyond its reach. Someone who cannot be dictated by its rules. Someone even the Book of Fate cannot anticipate. Someone who could correct his mistakes, fix what had gone wrong in his life, and perhaps even achieve the unthinkable—things that Lynn himself had always dreamed of but never dared attempt. .... i am writing this novel for fun , nothing else. just my personal wish to create something different from typical cliche standards. it may end up becoming good or bad.

Surviving A Women's World

When seventeen-year-old Lucien Haruto Maris — a socially awkward but brilliant prodigy with a mind built for strategy, games, psychology, and war theory — dies in an accident, he opens his eyes in a place far removed from anything he's ever known. He's no longer in his own frail body... but in the muscular, wounded shell of a dying man sprawled in a muddy trench surrounded by the scent of steel and blood. The world around him is medieval — swords, castles, horses, dirt roads, and politics steeped in steel. But something is very wrong. Here, women rule everything. Kings are Queens. Generals are Matriarchs. Knights ride in plate armor with long hair braided in the colors of their house. Men? They are property. Spoils of war. Breeders. Pets. Playthings. Rarely educated, often silenced. Their worth lies between their legs, not between their ears. Worse still: the body Lucien now occupies belongs to a rebel, a once-prized consort of a Duchess who betrayed the crown and paid the price. He should be dead. Instead, Lucien wakes up with a second chance — and in a world stacked entirely against him. Armed with only his genius, his virgin awkwardness, combat experience of his new body and a deep knowledge of human behavior, Lucien must navigate a world where a smile from the wrong woman can be lethal... and a clever lie can buy him power. He'll play the fool, whisper poison in powerful ears, seduce with strategy instead of strength, and build a following of dangerous women who believe they control him. They don’t. They’re playing checkers. Lucien is playing goddamn 5D chess.
