After the short thank-you event, Aerine then began to fill in the details of what was on the letter to Lucian. She didn't recount exactly what was on the letter, but the most important part of it such as that her mother was safe and in a safe location.
She also told Lucian that someone was still pursuing them, revealing that she wasn't completely safe yet.
"Why... Do you think I should be careful with other sirens when visiting the deep sea?" Aerine began to ask Lucian, as always, relying on him as though he knew all the things in this world.
At some point, they had already left the house and were now sitting at the small cottage near the beach. They were now sitting opposite each other and had finally let go of their hands.
Although their feet somehow touched each other still.
