This moment only lasted for a few seconds before they were forced to recover themselves, not knowing what exactly was happening between them. Aerine tugged Lucian's hand, somehow weak and soft, and called for his name.
"Lucian... Let's swim." She invited once more, smiling shyly while looking into the other's eyes.
Lucian could only nod his head, speechless.
And so, Aerine let go of Luican's hand a bit reluctantly before she shook her head and focused on the feeling of seawater and the sand at her feet.
Aerine walked until the water was already at her waist, and she stopped. Slowly, she turned around; the wind was dancing her long hair. As the smile crept on her lips, she waved at Lucian, who was standing at the beach, looking at her.
