The next day, Aerine and Lucian left the island. Somehow, she was a bit reluctant, but they still had something to do. Looking longingly at the island and her experiences there, she bid her final farewell once more, not knowing when she could visit again in the future.
"I'll seal off the area." Lucian's voice rang from the headset.
Aerine turned her face to Lucian, her mood lifting. She was also so happy that the other was with her, and the memories of yesterday still seemed so fresh in her mind.
One reason she was a bit reluctant to leave.
"You will?"
He nodded. "No one can find this island other than us."
Aerine fell silent and then smiled. Not saying thank you anymore, but she squeezed his hand, a wordless thanks... something she was getting accustomed to.
The flight to the city seemed much faster at this time, and they returned only a few hours later. They returned to a private area, which was owned by Lucian himself.
