Chapter 26 - Morning, Love

Jen had a very good sleep.

In her dream, she was walking on clouds, floating, skipping, spinning...

By the time she woke up, she felt like all the muscles in her body had the best massage ever, and her spirit was ready to jump out of her mind- she felt so energetic and alive- until she opened her eyes.

"Ouch..." Jen felt a sharp pain in her head, "That hurts."

The dizziness brought Jen back to reality- she blacked out last night, and now she needed to face the consequences.

Jen tried to avoid the sunlight which was making her pain even more obvious, she wanted to go and close the curtain- this was when she realized she woke up in a strange room again.

"Oh no, what happened again..." Jen instantly regretted her choice, she shouldn't have listened to Luna, and shouldn't have tried the different flavors of drinks.

Jen heard a light groan next to her, there he was again, Sebastian.

But instead of the shameful outfit they were wearing, this time both of them were decently dressed- maybe a little too decent, they were both wearing the same clothes as last night.

Sebastian's left arm was stretched out, underneath Jen's pillow- his arm was her pillow for most of the night.

His hair was a little messy, covering one of his eyes- "He really needs a haircut." Jen thought to herself.

Sebastian was not awake yet.

With the scattered pieces of memories that she had, Jen knew that Sebastian brought her back last night, and must have taken good care of her.

"Thank you." She whispered, wanting to let him sleep for a little longer, Jen tried to cover him up with the blanket.

But she didn't expect Sebastian to be so alert- the moment she stood up to get out of bed, he practically jumped up, and grabbed Jen's arms.

"Jen, it's okay, don't be scared." Sebastian shouted, "I am here."

"Morning, hi, I know. I am awake now, thank you." Jen felt a little awkward that Sebastian started taking such good care of her, "I am gonna go grab a shower if you don't mind. I feel disgusting. Rest a little more."

"Sure, I have some clean shirts in the closet if you need any."

"Oh don't worry," Jen was still a little wobbly when she walked out of the room, "I'm sure Victor already moved my stuff here. I couldn't go home last night because it was half empty."

Sebastian was sitting at the breakfast table, waiting for Jen when Lucy came to bring him his morning coffee.

"Mr. Day?" Lucy asked concerned, "You look a little tired this morning, maybe you should rest a little longer."

"I'm fine, Lucy. Thank you." Sebastian smiled at her and felt a sense of warmth for having someone who cared for him.

"Ms. Jen should be ready soon, but Rosa Land is indeed very big and maybe she would have trouble looking for the dining hall. Most of the help around here was sent back for a couple of days to make Ms. Jen feel more at ease..." Lucy was waiting for Sebastian to finish her sentence.

"Oh, that's right. Maybe I should go wait for her." Sebastian took the sign and stood up immediately.

He walked up the stairs to look for Jen, his steps were getting lighter and lighter thinking that Jen would love the breakfast, Lucy made them a very nutritious meal that would definitely help her recover from last night.

When he was about to knock on her door, Jen opened the door and both of them were surprised.

"Oh, hi," Jen said, caught off guard, "I guess I have to get used to this."

"Don't worry, you will have plenty of privacy here, I just wanted to show you around the place first, thought that maybe you got lost somewhere."

The atmosphere between these two was really awkward- even though that was not unusual considering all the dramas they had been through together, but this was the first time that Jen did something so embarrassing.

Her memories were coming back to her while she was in the shower:

Luna was waiting for her outside the door when she wanted to get into her room, she noticed that most of the stuff was already gone- Victor had people move it, but kept it in the moving van so that Sebastian wasn't disturbed during the night time.

She had to take Luna out for some fresh air but Luna insisted on going back to the bar for some snacks.

They were only going to order some food but Luna persuaded her to try one shot of soju, then...

The next thing she remembered, she was on top of Sebastian, biting his neck...

"Eh, I don't remember much from last night," Jen broke the silence, "but thank you for taking care of me." She said, holding the glass of orange juice Lucy made for her, fresh.

"Don't worry about it. We all have those days." Sebastian said, very diplomatically, "But you really shouldn't drink outside like that, it could be very dangerous."

"Maybe next time, you can make me a drink." Jen joked, trying to lighten the mood.

"That is a good idea, I was good at my job." But Sebastian took it seriously, excited that Jen wanted to spend more time with him.

They went back into silence while having breakfast.

Jen saw that Sebastian did have several red marks on his neck- maybe she did bite him?

"I'm sorry if I was rough last night, I was told I get aggressive when I drink." Jen tried to bury her head, she did bite Jackson's ears once, and he was not very happy about that.

"No, it's nothing." Sebastian answered, "It was just mosquito bites."

But Sebastian knew that he was lying.

In the middle of the night, he was still trying to keep an eye on Jen when she started crying in her sleep.

"What, what happened?" He got closer to her, trying to see if she was feeling uncomfortable, "I can take you to the hospital if you want to, Jen."

"W...water..." She whispered, "My stomach is burning."

"Of course it is," Sebastian jumped out of bed to get her some water from the kitchen, "you didn't eat that much for dinner."

Sebastian gently helped Jen to sit up, stuffed a pillow behind her back, and handed her the cup of water.

But Jen was not conscious enough to take the water and drink on her own, he had to put the cup next to her lips, "Please drink, I don't know what else I can do to get you to drink."

Jen took a small sip and then pushed Sebastian's hand away- water spilled on both Jen and Sebastian.

"eh... I will get us a towel, don't worry."

Sebastian had never taken care of a person like this, he was too new at this to predict what could have happened when you gave a glass of water to a drunk person.

When he got the towel from the bathroom, Jen was already half sitting- half lying on the bed.

Sebastian was gently tapping the water off of Jen when she hooped onto him and grabbed him by the neck.

"Sebastian..." She murmured, her warm breath touching Sebastian's ears and neck, "Thank you."

"You are welcome, Jen."

Sebastian smiled, finding it funny that she was still so polite even when she was drunk.

But just before he finished cleaning off the water, Jen, who had been holding him closer and closer, started kissing his neck.

"Don't leave me," She said through the panting, "I will give you anything."
