I found this page in Frederick's diary, although it was written much later, probably in the 80s.
After they all left, I changed and started reading the page. At a glance, it looks like a story between two kids. What compelled me to go on reading is the familiarity. I felt like I knew the two kids from somewhere.
The Chatterjee household has never been a happy household. Nobody knows why, but nobody has ever seen any member of this family laugh out loud. It probably has something to do with their tumultuous family history, or the fact that the family has seen three untimely deaths. The neighbourhood always knew them to be one of those grim families nobody ever wanted to mess with.
