Chapter 21 - The Clown

On the weekend, Eleazar woke up early, cleaned herself up, and headed to the school gates early.

How dare he make Fina wait for him.

When he got to the place, he realized that there were quite a few people there for the appointment.

There were both men and women, mostly men waiting for women and very few women waiting for men.

Everyone was unspoken, embarrassed, or looking down at their feet, or clasping their hands and looking at the sky, ferrying back and forth, pretending to look at the scenery, that childish and ridiculous cover-up, full of unspeakable shyness and beauty.

Eleazar quietly joins as a member.

Surprised looks were cast by some who recognized them.

Perhaps in their vision, they have long since lost their right to choose a spouse for these years.

"Shallow~" Eleazar clasped her arms dismissively.

After waiting for about ten minutes, several couples had already left to confirm their relationship, and Fina, who didn't have the heart to keep him waiting for too long, appeared in style.

She was beautiful today, living up to her reputation as the Goddess of Astronomy.

A tall figure, so that the white corseted dress also with the breeze gently, snow-white shoulders, long hair tied on the left side down, eyes full of laughter, wearing white lace gloves of the delicate hand, gently press the head of the dome sun hat.

It's a very ordinary outfit, but it's full of moving colors.

To the disbelieving eyes of the crowd, she walked over to Eleazar with a smile on her face.

"Did you take your meds today, or can we go on a date?"

Why does she keep bringing it up...

Eleazar, who had long ago lost the pill bottle somewhere, rubbed his nose, "Come back for more."

"Are you sure, today we are going to a haunted house Oh, it's very famous, I'm afraid your heart won't be able to handle it halfway through."

The expression on Eleazar's face grew frozen.

Haunted House...

If it was a human pretending to be a ghost, it wouldn't hurt for him to pretend to be scared, but if it was a real ghost...

You can see from the old dormitory building that's on lockdown just how tricky real ghostly spirits can be.

Why did she suddenly want to play with this kind of stuff?

Now Eleazar couldn't lighten up and just said awkwardly, "So I go back to my meds?"

"Well, go on~"

Fina didn't care at all, as if she had expected him to go back.

Eleazar glanced back at her somewhat uneasily and quickly returned to the dormitory.

Open the closet, take out the case, turn the revolver inside out, load it with 5 silver bullets, and turn it into an empty chamber so it doesn't go off.

Ghosts are immune to physics and can travel freely, so take one of those frost detonators with you, just in case...

It's a good idea to take the pass chalk with you as well, so you don't walk away from a hallucination.

The silver ring can also be taken on, which is also an energy attack and may work wonders.

Stuffing these things away, Eleazar realized with a numbness in his scalp that he had brought almost his entire fortune with him in case of the disembodied ghostly spirit.

"Still, I'm entrusting you to watch the house haha."

After winding up the silver box and injecting it with psychic activation, Eleazar gently closes the case and places it back under the closet panel.

Whoever opens this box without his permission dies.

Back at the school gates again, Eleazar found his fears verified.

It was clear that she had only been away for a moment, and a swarm of flies had surrounded her.

"Come on, Fina-san, my balcony is huge, it's still shaded, you can drink tea, play cards, barbecue, and at night you can look at the stars with an astronomical mirror, it's much more fun than going out in the sun, look, your shoulders are getting tanned, come on, get in the car with me..."

A boy, who had slicked his hair back, very gentlemanly, reached out his hand, trying to shield her from the sunlight, and in doing so, took the snowy, puffy shoulders.

"Pop!"

Fina slapped the dirty hand away without a second thought.

"Hey, why are you being so rude, Young Master Jie Ming was just trying to block the light for you."

"That's right, not ladylike at all, you apologize quickly."

The people surrounding her were up in arms, trying to use this as an embarrassment to get her to give in.

Eleazar quickly rushes to the front of the crowd, just clenching his fists, but looks up to see the school's sign and can only take a deep breath.

"Make way, please, make way."

He secretly exerted his power, and the crowd that had gathered around him suddenly crashed to the east like bowling pins, and some of the people who were weak-footed were even unsteady on their feet, sitting on their asses on the ground.

Suddenly being disturbed, those people suddenly had a gloomy gaze filled with malice.

Eleazar came to a cold-faced Fina and said with an apologetic face, "Sorry I'm late."

With that, he reached out and tried to take her hand.

Fina, however, avoids it gently.

Ah, this...

The onlookers were about to let out a roar of laughter when they saw the goddess slipping off the gloves she had just struck the man with and discarding them mercilessly before holding the boy's hand in turn, revealing a bright smile like ice melting away.

"Let's go~"

The air at the scene instantly froze, and the surrounding rich kids who were ready to watch the show were so jealous that their eyes were about to spit out fire.

Remington slapped the dust off his ass and stood up coldly:

"What's the fun in being with a deadbeat pauper like that, eating shitty food, watching cheap shows, and living like a clown."

Eleazar had always thought that people should know themselves, and after being rejected in such a humiliating manner, he should have died, but when he glanced back, he saw the other party still staring at Fina's back, his gaze cold and full of lust and hatred.

The other party had never put him in his sights, to begin with.

He's a Transcendent and he's being ignored like this?

"Ignore people like that," Fina whispered after walking away.

"After a few hard times, he'll know who the clown is."

"Well, such people do suffer easily."

Eleazar echoed with deep feeling.

Fina glanced at him, some pouty helplessness in her eyes.

They behaved intimately and walked down the street for a while...

"Don't you care about that guy?"

Eleazar said as if he meant it.

Fina sniffed back at the sound and saw a panicked figure shrinking into the alley.

"Whatever she is."

"Nana, why are you such a magnet for butterflies." Eleazar said jokingly.

Fina swept him off his feet and suddenly broke away from his hand.

Ah, this... It's like getting too carried away.

"Call a cab, I don't want to go."

Fina clasped her hands together and looked away.

Eleazar scratched his nose helplessly.

The kind of convenient car that stands on the side of the road and comes at your beck and call is a kind of transportation that only exists in big cities, and I heard that the fare is quite expensive.

He looked around for a moment and followed the lead of the same man across the street who was hailing a cab, reaching his arm into the road and giving a thumbs up.

That's a really silly pose...

After a three-minute wait, a yellow-painted car slowly pulled up in front of it, curved like an arch and with headlights that bulged like toad eyes.

"Nana, the car is here."

Calling out to the regal princess at the curb, he helped her gracefully into her seat before he stepped through the other side of the car door.

When they were seated, the driver turned back and asked:

"Where would you like to take this pretty girl, young man?"

Eleazar was about to say something and finally turned his head to look at his side.

"To Griefland," Fina said faintly.

The driver raised an eyebrow and threw Eleazar a meaningful look in the rearview mirror.

"Okay, please fasten your seatbelts, we're off!"
