"You know my bastard of fiance is going to visit my house." Janet jeered.
"Wow, we already have trouble on our sleeves Instead of sending troops they send him." I snorted.
"Seriously, even Dad was annoyed. I bet he is here to have a good fuck."
"Do you want to get revenge on him?" I asked. Her eyes shined with excitement.
"Do you have a plan?"
"Arrange a meeting for us, I will show him his place since your hands are tied." I offer. She shook her head.
"No girl. You have lots of things to do besides you are a capo so no you shouldn't get into trouble."
"You are no fun." I rolled my eyes.
"Let's do it when you become an official leader."
I nod. After finishing school we walked to our usual cafe for fun. Ronnie will be joining us soon once he is done with his schedule. On the way our gaze lands on the man and a girl of our age walking toward the alleyway. The girl's lips are trembling. Janet noticed it too. We followed them closely behind.
"What if there are more men than we can handle?" Janet whispered.
I pulled out daggers and handed her one. She smirks. Tip toying our way in we found a warehouse where the man took the girl inside. I texted my location to Ronnie and our men before entering. Two guards stood outside smoking. We hide behind the barrels. After observing for a few minutes we noticed one more man dragging another girl inside who was crying and pleasing them to let her go. We didn't have to assess more, they were kidnapping the girls. I clench my fist.
We didn't notice anything odd at the night. I need a plan.
"Let's get rid of those guards and get in," Janet said.
"If you are ready, getting in is dangerous."
"Let's go, you already called for backup. We need to check what exactly they are doing with them and more information."
Nodding we got out of hiding and approached the guards.
"Hello, we got lost. How can we get out of here?" Janet said in a seductive tone. I tried not to laugh.
"Oh, hello. How did you get in?" he questions.
"That's all her fault." Janet pointed at me.
"I tried." I protest in the most fake tone.
"It's alright. How about we get in and get you some drinks? We will lead you out later." the man offered with a smile.
"Just drink. I thought you would offer more." Janet winked at him.
The guy smirked and led us in. The other guy waited outside. I checked out the surroundings while Janet tried her best to distract the guy. Getting a signal from Janet I left them and tried to find the girls I had seen previously. There isn't any security here making it easy for me to check around. I heard a girl screaming at the top of her lungs, without a pause I followed the voice.
Soon enough I found a girl completely naked while a man was forcing himself on her. Pulling out my dragger I approached the guy and slit his throat. Holding his neck I threw him away from the girl. She calmed down to see me but looked at me in horror. I crouched down in front of her.
"I will get you out of here. Put on clothes." I told her softly. She obeyed and stood up. Her body shook from head to toe.
"There are others here." She muttered once she was dressed up.
"How many? And do you know where they are?"
"Twenty, I don't know where they are."
Telling her to follow me I walked up ahead trying to listen to the noises. Soon I heard footsteps and two guys approached me. Their teeth gritted seeing me.
"How do you get out? Get back in or you will be punished badly." He yelled.
"Shut up, and get out of my way if you want to live," I said in a flat tone.
"You look virgin. I will fuck the attitude out of you."
"Why men are so obsessed with virginity? Pathetic."
The guy came forward trying to hit me, I dodged him and kicked his jaw, satisfied hearing a crack. Without giving him a minute I stabbed his armpit finishing him right there. The other guy pointed the gun at me. I raised my arm in surrender.
"Now be a good girl and get back in. Don't forget to strip out of your clothes." He ordered.
He got shot in his arm and leg causing him to glare at the intruders. One more shot and he fell dead. I heard a loud gasp behind me which I ignored. My gaze lands on one of my men who used to guard me when I was young, Lucas. He gave me a quick bow.
"Are you alright, Capo?"He asked.
"You came in perfect time. Did you find Janet?"
"Yes, she is safe. Let's head out, we will clean up this mess."
I glance back at the girl I saved. Her eyes are wide from the fear. Now that she was safe I noticed her blond hair and light blue eyes. Her clothes look expensive too. She Looks like one of the spoiled princesses. She is safe so it doesn't matter.
"Come on I will send you back home," I said gently.
She nods with a shaky breath. When I headed out Ronnie was the first to approach me, Janet grinned at me.
"Thank care of the girls. Get them back home safely." I said.
"Alright, we will inform Capo first."
Janet, Ronnie, and I waited until they cleaned up the mess. Lucas approached me, he looked stressed.
"That blond-haired girl, she said her name is Seraphina Flint."Informed Lucas.
Flint, one of the Elite family. I glance at Janet and Ronnie, they look surprised too. Flint in our territory, it's bad. If they found out then it would cause us trouble. Considering Elite families it will lead to our destruction even if we save her. Dang it.
"What do we do now?" Lucas asked.
"Send her here, let me talk to her, "I told him.
Lucas nodded and approached Seraphina who flinched but stood on her ground. She walked towards us after Lucas pointed in our direction. I checked her from head to toe, she wasn't harmed except for her bruised wrist.
"I am so sorry, those people who kidnapped you aren't from our territory. How did you get here and since when?" I asked.
"They kidnapped me when I was returning home. I don't remember how long it is." She replied shakingly.
"We will send you back so rest assured. Who we are supposed to contact?"
"I don't remember any contact. I don't know how to go back," said Seraphina.
Then she started crying. Janet quickly tried to calm her down while Romnie left us to check on other things.
How do I get her back without causing trouble for us?
I called Deo without a second thought.
"Deo. I have a trouble." I said.
"What happened?"
"I rescued a few kidnapped girls, one of them is Flint. What do I do?"
"That will cause lots of trouble for you. What's her name?"
"Seraphina."
There was a pause before he spoke up.
"Bring her to me I will send her back and it won't cause trouble to you."
"And if it causes trouble to you? Elites are crazy."
"It's fine Jade, I will handle it with no trouble for any of us."
"Fine, I am coming to your apartment with her."
"Alright, I will see you soon."
Janet heads back to her home after getting a text from her mom, her finance had arrived. Ronnie was busy taking care of the kidnapers so I took Seraphina with me after assuring Lucas.
Standing in front of Deo's apartment the memories of my previous visit rushed in my mind.
I felt warm. This man will be a very important part of my life, I can feel it.
